Just to let you know.

I have a vision of continuing PAW until at least 2090 (when i die :crying2: :o ) lol, so don't worry about it perhaps going, it will continue and that is why I'm giving you an early notice for help :)

Also Marcobarella has pmed me and is willing to help as always, he is definately reliable but we all have to forgive him for what happened in the past. It's a tough call but if we want to keep PAW going we might need him back :)

I could help out from time to time. Not every week (I don't have all the time in the world), but once every few weeks would be possible (maybe the weeks when there are 3 tournements).

I can keep and update leauge table, but I don't know how to do the scoring points.

Ive been thinking about help u in this hard stuff. Im a busy man, but i want this game forever. So, i will up to do work if its needed, not every week but i could get time.

I can manage for sure Miami, Casablanca and most of the tournaments in July-August (Los-Angeles, San Diego, Montreal, Cincinnati, New Haven) because i have a holiday for two month :)

About the other tournaments I am sure that I could run one in two weeks or something like that (depands on my exams schedule).

I coul try with Menphis or Dubai for example... but i need to know how to do it, and what i have to do!

I can run Wimbledon because I start the holiday a little sooner this year :D

I could do Memphis or Bogota or Acapulco

Just one of them to start with, if that one goes well, I would love to do more.

I can take Roland Garros and Wimbledon, but still long time to play, We don't know what will be happen at that time.

Like I already said I can run Miami and Wimbledon and other tournaments in july-august because I have no school at that time of year :)

Spikey... it was quite hard to manage a tournament with 70 players and 31 matches... I have no idea how a normal human being can handle alone a tournament with 120 players and 127 matches...

After Hyderabad the next tournament I want to manage is Casablanca.
After that, one between Warsaw and Budapest, and one between Strasbourg and Madrid.
You can also count on me for at least one tournament (maybe 2 in seperate weeks) between Roland Garros and Wimbledon.
Palermo would be fine as well.

As you see, I like the European clay... well, it's not the surface, it's the time zone and size of tournaments that I like...

I came to conclusion that I will not be able to manage any tournament with more than 32 players... that rules out the grand slams, Miami, Indian Wells and I think also Berlin and Rome... also the # of PAWers expected in tier 1 tournaments that are played alone in that week is beyond my capability...
Beside that, I won't normally do 2 tournaments back-to-back, and would prefer time zone close to mine... Europe, Africa and western Asia as far is India is my prefered locations... outside those regions I fear there would be serious delays in the daily standing...

Nir since u r on holidays from July-August,

Well your task basically will be to run the league table.

Adding the points gained by each player and processing a ordered table with:

Player........ W (no of correct picks)... L (no of incorrect picks) Pts (their total number of points)

Points to note:

Use the point allocated by the scoring points - sandg will post these

If there is a walkover, eg Golovin def Hantuchova W/O, no points are awarded and that PAW becomes invalid, so the players may replace that PAW.

If let's say Safina beats Martinez 1-0 ret... points GO to Safina, since more than one point was played. Therefore it is like a normal win for Safina.

Tips on "getting the table straight," do it in word - using Courier New Font, then post it with {FONT=COURIER NEW} table... {/FONT} , remember to use [ and ] not { and }...

To avoid spacing problems, use {CODE} text {/CODE}, or {pre} and {/pre}...

Also, the tournament manager should check for late picks, IE picks posted after the match in question has started.
If the start time of match is unknown, we use a fomula of 3 minutes per game. See details in the PAW rules thread.

There is vacancy in Sopot and Cincinnati. The latter is on the same week as Athens Olympics so it's a minor one.

San Diego is possible if you can post the scoring pts in July 24 & 25 (US time July 23 & 24).

For LA is better if anyone help me to post unofficially LT after QF & SF (after Friday & Saturday US time) while you post the scoring pts. The PAW players need LT to choose the strategy in final stage. Then I continued make League Table in final day.

Well Luis the only reason there is a lack of commitments is cos Palermo was moved from the Stanford week to LA so all those who committed to Palermo therefore went into Stanford and kept LA as their commitment.

Well Luis the only reason there is a lack of commitments is cos Palermo was moved from the Stanford week to LA so all those who committed to Palermo therefore went into Stanford and kept LA as their commitment.

San Diego is possible if you can post the scoring pts in July 24 & 25 (US time July 23 & 24).

For LA is better if anyone help me to post unofficially LT after QF & SF (after Friday & Saturday US time) while you post the scoring pts. The PAW players need LT to choose the strategy in final stage. Then I continued make League Table in final day.

There is vacancy in Sopot and Cincinnati. The latter is on the same week as Athens Olympics so it's a minor one.
Also... if you like to do Palermo or Stockholm I will step down, and do ATP tournaments where managers are hard to find...
