I just noticed for the first time that she is 48 years old and has not played a full year on the tour yet. Does anyone know why she is playing? I am not saying she shouldn't be but I am just curious to know what motivated her. I hope she can do well:)

Just wondering, is there any pre requistites for entering a professional tournament? Would Nancy and co have some sort of an ameteur record?

a lot of 10K qualies even people without ranking can enter,
but she has to be ranked locally to be considered an alternate i believe,
but after playing so many matches picking up points here and there,
she has enough points to be ranked, which almost garanteed
10K qualies entries and those WTA MD matches she had,
the commitment for those tournaments
cant even fill the qualies draw, so she enters:)
when there is a will, there will always be a way:D
