This is pretty weak draw, so hopefully we will see a player in their first title. I believe there are only players in the draw to own WTA titles. Craybas won the Japan Open in 2002 and Angie has wins in Pattaya and Bali. So, as you can see this is wide open. Who do you hope to win and why?

I believe either Jie Zheng will win or Jelena Kostanic. Also, hopefully Saori will do well.

Jie - Recently had a great tournament in Japan and pushed eventual champion, Sharapova in the QF. She is the first Chinese player since Yi to crack the top 100 I believe.

Jelena Kostanic - Rolled over Fislova today pretty easily. Hopefully a title will come here.

Saori - Had a good Bali tournament, where she reached the SF. She has earned her 3rd seed, and hopefully she can tear through the draw.

It may be Ruano-Pascual or Kostanic

but my favourite is Wartusch!

I picked Kostanic because maybe I am hoping for two much too soon for Jie. (Recently reached the top 100, becoming the first since Yi.) A title would be great for both!

Next round will be tough as she's only played Saori once before at 2002 Bali and lost 2-6 5-7.

Actually Emmanuelle, Parra and Obata have never won a tournament, let alone beein in the Final of a Tournament, where Virgina has won 2, Last won I think was in 1998 though.

I just checked and Manu has NEVER been in a WTA Tour event final!!!! So just winning tomorrow would be so amazing!!! Of course, Parra and Obata have never reached a final either.

The pressure is on for all of these ladies tomorrow. I'm sure they all desperately want to get into the final, but I really hope it's Manu vs. Parra, but Vivi vs Obata is probably the way it will work out. I hope I'm wrong!!!
