absolut Oct 8th, 2003, 02:40 AM she just had a great tournament in Georgia, losing in the SF to eventual champion Tartakova :worship: ...
I was surprised that Salome Devidze didn't play her home country tournament though, deciding instead to remain in the US in order to play the challenger in New Mexico
salima Oct 8th, 2003, 07:12 AM Now I remember to have heard of her before, but does she live in America?

TheBoiledEgg Oct 8th, 2003, 10:06 PM Salima, yes she does live in US (pretty sure) as she spends 90% of her time playing USTA events
just recently she's come back and played Tbilisi, Batumi and Tashkent
she missed out on Moscow cos she was in Batumi still.
absolut Oct 9th, 2003, 01:28 AM :woohoo: nice win, Liouda! :woohoo:
She always does well in Tashkent, hopefully she will do even better than expected this time
Salima, Liouda lives in Florida but still thinks Moscow is the prettiest town on Earth ;) ... Hopefully she will be able to improve her ranking and qualify for the Aussie Open, which would be awesome :bounce: !
SM Oct 9th, 2003, 05:43 AM good to see her moving up!!
ts323 Oct 9th, 2003, 05:57 AM Absolut, there are no NATASHAs here!!!!! But I saw Evgenia in the draw! :wavey:
absolut Oct 9th, 2003, 04:18 PM thanks for the information, ts, it's greatly appreciated :) !
Pity Natasha is not there, is Koulikovskaia still around ? How is everything in the Uzbek capital? still hot? and if you ever get the chance to post results in the board, I know everybody would love it, there is a shortage of information in the net.
That was a great win against Widjaja! even Franco was impressed :p !
ts323 Oct 9th, 2003, 08:49 PM Well, lots of people had left, not too many russians r around anymore. Evgenia left as well I think. Weather is not hot, but getting better in past 2 days. Half of the draw was sick in here, either stomach or cold, especially all the russians. Cant wait till I get to somewhere warmer!!!! Hi to Miami and everybody!
