OK, her best rank has been 130, so she is a level below Müller and Lamade, but at the moment she's totally wasting her talent. :( Since 1999 she has always finished the year in top 200, that won't happen this year.

I have seen her quite a few times, she's better than this. She should at least be a consistent top-150-player. :(

Sorry, I wasn't able to go today. Petange is a hard place to get to, it's out in the sticks and there are no buses out there. If only I could drive. Maybe I'll figure out a way to get there on Saturday; unfortunately all the players I wanted to see will have gone by then. :sad:

Typically, the Lux. newspapers are useless as well - none of them have any tennis reports online. I'll try to buy one tomorrow if there is anything in it.

the problem is that there are nearly 250 players who are able to play top 150 consistently... but they all don't get in...

i think it's not fair to talk so bad about MARTINA, BIANKA and co. they played very well in 2001, showed what they can do and you all were fascinated by them. and now, they are unlucky with injuries and other problems, you stop the support. what will you do if they play top 50 next year???

Bianka changed her forehand few weeks before the Hamburg match
maybe that was the reason why she missed EVERY SINGLE FOREHAND
i talked with her in Hamburg, and she was nice, but very down

Maybe this tournament will help Bianka to find again confidence after her victory in double at Les Contamines.
I have seen her playing some years ago at Le touquet ($25K that year in France) she wont the 2 title (single and double) she had a very good play and was very kind. So I wish her to be back soon in the 100th. :wavey:

i think you also have to think to the psychological pressure. these players are young girls, no machines. a girlfriend of mine was that tough and full of fighting spirit - but she retired because of that pressure. and she's one of the toughest girls i know. she's also a friend of ANGELIKA and i know that ANGELIKA thinks about retirement since two years...
