I'm not long back from it. Elke didn't play that well, although I didn't see the 3rd set. Rebecca was unlucky against Jaslyn, she was 0-4 down in the final set, came back to 3-4 then missed a couple of break points to level it up.
Was really impressed with how Emily played, she was something like 1-4 down in the 1st set before she went 5-4 up and had the chance to serve out the set. In fact she had 2 set points, but had about 3 double faults in that game alone.

Thought Karen played well from what I saw of her match. Lyndsay's scoreline was a bit harsh too, she played better than what the score suggests.

That'll keep you going a little until Paul puts his report up ;)

Go Jane in the final (by the way, this Elise girl cannot be that bad....) :)

omg the Amanda vs Karen was was a thriller. Amanda should ahve won it in straight sets, but ultimately, Karen blew it big style.

Karen broke and led 2-1, Amand broke back. The set ended with seven breaks in a row. Amanda won it 6-4.

Amanda served fro teh match at 5-3, and hit 2 DF's in a row to let Karen break back. Karen broke again and then served out. Amanda lost it - and Amanda never looses it. She always remains calm.

Karen started playing the msot amazing tennis i ahve ever seen from any player in teh world. 4 aces, then 4 return aces!! She was up 5-2 and walking it. She has 2mp's, one at 40-30, then one at adv. She hit forehands long and into teh net. She saved 6 break poins, before Amanda won teh game. Karen was totally ruined menatlly. After winnig 13 poitns in a row seh just fell apart, she couldnt get a thing in court. She got to 30-30 when serving for teh match again at 5-4, then janes got a lucky let cord. I think Karen's spirit deserted her, as she was broken again to loose the match. She was in floods of tears unsurprisingly.

Jane was all over Beller. She was up 6-3 5-3 and fell asleep before winning.

Tamalea vs Janes was very close, Amanda saved like 11 match points in 2 games before going out. She was absolutely knackerd fomr ehr match versus Karen which was very hard hitting and long rallies. If she had beenre sted i think she would have won.

Chantal had a plane to catch, so her heart really wasn't in the doubles. She and Karen lost 4-6 3-6.

Freohlich pulled out with a "back injury". Clare Wood pointed out that if it was so bad, how come she beat Reilly/White 6-0 6-2. Forehlich accused Clare Wood of saying she was faking and stared crying (:rolleyes:) Clare was having none of it. She just said fine go home then, I can't force you to stay. So Curran/Hawkins win teh title, and left this evening.

So tomorrow there is just one match, the singles final. Following that will be a doubles exho featuring: Linzi, Karen, Jane and one other. We were trying to get Clare Wood to play but she refused :(

I feel so bad for Karen, she gave it her everything, but her mind just got all frazzled when shemissed to match points. Amanda Janes said after: "I was very lucky, I didn't beat her, she beat herself."

Jane was woeful today. She gave away dozens of easy points, Elise had to do very little. Jane had8 breka poitns in two games in the second set, at 2-4 and then at 3-5, but didn't take them.

Elise and Jane then teamed up to beat Karen and Linzi 8-6 in a doubles exho.
