Jo; something strange just happened. I clicked on your url (omitting the comma) and got a German site selling, if my ropey deutch is to be trusted, health insurance. Weird eh?
I'll try again later.
Good luck in 2003!:)

Teenagers focus on respect
BILL WOLVERTON , Rockford Register Star
ROCKFORD -- Whether it's true or not, citizens of the United States have an international reputation.
We are the "impatient Americans."
Almost nowhere was that more evident than at the USTA Women's Challenger of Rockford, especially during Sunday's first round of qualifying at the Clock Tower Raquet Club.
A group of Americans came to this $25,000 tournament not for the money, but for the respect -- and they were all teenagers. And in order to make it into Tuesday's main draw, they had to win Sunday and today.
"I'm going to try this and see what happens when I get out of college," said 16-year-old Whitney Jones, who took the ACT at age 12 and scored high enough, a 28, to enter college at 15.
Jones faced the No. 1 qualifying seed Sunday and lost 6-1, 6-1.
But there was a point in the match, a cross-court forehand on the run that Margalita Chakhnashvili couldn't catch up with, that showed exactly how good Jones could be. Her family, who drove the five hours from St. Louis to be here, exchanged knowing looks.
"We've always hit the ball hard," said her father L.D.
Now, though, with Venus and Serena Williams taking the sport to a new level, hard is not enough.
"It's more of an all-court game," said 18-year-old Tanner Cochran, who was asked time after time "Are you off already?" after she dismantled Leanne Baker 6-1, 6-1.
"You look at the Williams sisters and Jennifer Capriati, they hit hard and cover the court and have huge serves. With my game, I'm trying to become a full-court player."
Seventeen-year-old Caitlin Collins showed flashes of having that type of game. She had a 4-1 lead in the first set before losing 7-5, 6-3 to Christina Fitz.
Collins was a wild-card entry into the qualifying round and has a ranking of 1,037 that won't get any better after Sunday's loss.
"In general, she'd like to be on the regular tour faster," Collins' coach, Phil Baillos, said. "But she's doing the things she needs to be doing to get there. It'll take a little more time than she thinks it should, but she'll be there."
And, Collins hopes, be there and be competitive.
"It takes a lot more these days," she said. "In the old days, there were a bunch of players on the tour who didn't hit hard. They were crafty and hit with a lot of spin.
"But now everyone is a hard hitter because you have to be."
That philosophy makes the game go faster and causes expectations be realized sooner.
"I'm that type of player," said Cochran, who is ranked 272 in her second year on the circuit. "But look, I'm still here in qualifying"
CoryAnnAvants#1 Jan 27th, 2003, 07:12 PM Cory Ann:sad: She needs to do something this year or she won't be getting another qualy WC to the US Open. If she does not produce results this year, I have a feeling she will probably be one of the many juniors who can't make the transition to pros. Hopefully, she can turn it around though!
