DoctorG Oct 28th, 2002, 09:40 PM Despite losing Ayla, Tia Clara / Ayla / Sub / Griffin / Moon still manage to hold the overall lead and get the runner-up spot in the 7th leg, won by Valda / Tim / Doris / Sofiane / Brian & Luis. :) Will they be able to catch up the Ab Fab Ladies? The 8th and final leg will answer this question! :D
Thank you, good luck! :wavey:
Valda Lake Oct 29th, 2002, 05:34 AM :)
Doris Loeffel Oct 29th, 2002, 08:33 AM We'll give our best in the last leg ;)
Won't we Valda??
The Crow Oct 29th, 2002, 09:50 AM Damn, the admins are closing in :(

yeah but we lost lisa, our naked member
DoctorG Oct 31st, 2002, 12:58 PM Indeed, keeping the members in play has proved to be the best strategy. Looking at the 7th leg ranking, you'll find in the first 5 spots all the teams with 3 members or more, and in the last 4 positions all the teams with 2 members or less.
That's something I'll keep in mind when (and if) I plan the team event for the next season.
Hurricane Lily Oct 31st, 2002, 02:27 PM oh no i'm out! *sniff* gooo Admins!!

Thanx for all your hard work Doc! It can't be said enough!
polishprodigy Nov 1st, 2002, 03:57 AM my team sucks cuz 3 players withdrew lol, Doctor G, why did they leave?
The Crow Nov 1st, 2002, 09:40 AM Agreeing with carot!
arn Nov 1st, 2002, 11:00 PM agreeing with Carot and The Crow! ;)
I hope we do well in the last leg! A third place would be great!
DoctorG Nov 4th, 2002, 01:38 PM Carot, The Crow, Arn,
thank you very much. Once I've done the points for the singles it doesn't take much time at all, so you can be sure there will be a team "something" next year too: maybe the same format, maybe a doubles tour, maybe a new event... I'm not sure, I'll think about it during the off-season. :) Suggestions are welcome. :D
Polishprodigy,
no withdrawals, your team mates have been eliminated according to the rules of this event: in each leg the last three without immunity go out and don't contribute to the team total anymore. :)
Thank you all, good luck! :wavey:

But without the dark background, we must get rid of light colours. :D
Hurricane Lily Nov 4th, 2002, 01:43 PM oohhh yeah I love this team "something" event... I hope it continues also! :D:)
DoctorG Nov 6th, 2002, 06:18 PM 2003 "something" will probably have the same format of the Fed Cup. :D I'm working on this idea, I'll let you know about it when everything is set. :)
