On Another note, was sent a picture today from Bournemouth and its absolutely jam-packed!!! All seats are taking, there are people with huge flags and banners supporting both sides. It's great to see our Women getting good support instead of just the men.
VSFan1 aka Joshua L. Oct 4th, 2002, 09:19 PM I'm glad as well Paul, but I don't think you typed that because there are no "mistekas"
TheBoiledEgg Oct 4th, 2002, 09:21 PM LMAO@Joshua but you are so true ;)

england_rules Oct 4th, 2002, 10:40 PM any news on keothavong vs. cochran?!?!?
bluepastures Oct 4th, 2002, 10:58 PM Webley Smith lost to Podkolzina 2-6, 5-7 and Keothavong lost to Tanner Cochran 3-6, 6-4, 3-6
So our only winner today is our youngest player, 16 y-o Melanie South. I'm going down there tomorrow (as it was confirmed this morning, that admission is free and I don't need a ticket)
england_rules Oct 4th, 2002, 11:08 PM are you sure anne lost?!?!? because i thought she won the first set 6-4 and was down 1-3 in the second but you have it where she won the second set but lost the first?!?!? i'm confused!!!!!
bluepastures Oct 4th, 2002, 11:17 PM Erm, I got them for BBC digital teletext. Let's check again, on www.bbc.co.uk this time. Still the same, it definitely has Cochran down as winning the first set, winning that match and USA leading the tie 5-3
england_rules Oct 5th, 2002, 12:08 AM ok!!! thanx bluepastures!!! must of just been me hoping!!! lol :D
TheBoiledEgg Oct 5th, 2002, 03:53 AM well done Sasha ;) another win :)

King Aaron Oct 6th, 2002, 10:19 AM Well done Jane! :)
bluepastures Oct 6th, 2002, 11:17 AM I'll be putting a few of my photos from yesterday on my gallery. Brilliant atmosphere. I was a couple of seats away from Podkolzina and Zalameda for most of yesterday's tennis, as most of the front row was reserved for the players apart from the end of each row.
VSFan1 aka Joshua L. Oct 6th, 2002, 07:55 PM Did you get any pictures of Shenay?
bluepastures Oct 6th, 2002, 11:38 PM Erm, only the picture of all of the US team. I did get some others of her, but they didn't come out very well due to the light (obviously I couldn't use flash)
VSFan1 aka Joshua L. Oct 7th, 2002, 01:04 PM I would like to look at them anyways ;)
