Aceman has got first and second round qualification results. Here are the most interesting ;) :
Nancy LC - 1st round bye
2nd round - Adriana Garuolis def. Nancy 6-0 6-0 ;)
Amy Dillingham - 1st round bye
2nd round - Yekaterina Kuznetsova def. Amy 6-0 6-0 ;)
1st round - Elena Blanina def. Dewonder Davis 6-0 6-0 ;)
Shivani Oberoi - 1st round w/o over Anna Savitskaia
2nd round - Marta Simic def. Shivani 6-1 6-0 ;)
Melody Snelen, Rhodes Proctor and Anna Pogosova were double-bagled as well, I should check their stats. ;)
And has anyone else noticed that Nancy, Amy and other bagel girls are often troubled by their good rankings ? They get a bye in first round, so they have to play someone in 2nd round who already has had a win and is just too good (not to mention that there's no chance that they will be drawn against each other).
For example Nancy: She had to play Garuolis who already had a double-bagel against Proctor in the first round. Maybe Nancy would have had a decent chance against Proctor.
Same for Amy: Kuznetsova beat Pogosova with a double-bagel, of course she's too good for Amy.
Only solution would be to play less, but that's the last thing we want them to do. ;)
