Welcome to Budapest, Hungary! :D This will be a clay court event, Level 2 event, in the home country of Timea Babos. :hearts:

Pamela Montez and Aleksandra Krunic got WCs into the professional event in Tokyo so they will be missing this event. :) [Krunic took the place of Robson as she retired and probably will get the WC into the Australian Open as well :speakles:] Unfortunately, Pam lost first round to (PC) player Marion Bartoli while Aleksandra got to the third round beating Henin and me [:ras: ;)] before losing to Azarenka. :)

Thanks to Laura Robson, before I start this event, I'm going to send PMs to see if the current players want to stay or retire. To be honest, I'm expecting to lose a lot of players so I'll be trying to recruit other ATT players as well. Hopefully we'll gain more than we lose. :)

How it works: If you get a WC into a pro tournament, you don't play in the junior tournament that week. ;) Makes it seem more realistic I think. :) So Montez won't play this week as well since she played in Tokyo. ;)

Magnifcent start from Aranza but she always seems to have trouble closing out Nastya. But you have to give credit to Nastya. Against most players, with that lead and strokes selection Aranza would’ve won. Nastya came up clutch against two big strokes and it saved her from losing this match. Awesome match! :worship: Bojana started the match on fire going up 5-0 but Urszula showed a bit of fight bringing the score to 5-3 but Bojana was able to close out the set. Urszula was the much better player in the second but the drama and quality didn’t come until the third set. Bojana led 5-3 but Urszula hit two winners to tie it up at 5-5. Bojana went up 6-5 and got a lucky net cord winner for the match. Had it went to a tiebreak, Urszula would’ve won. :sobbing: Congrats, Bojana. :yeah: Urszula. :bigcry:

At first when I saw these points, I wasn’t too impressed. :p But it seems to be doing Michelle some good! :clap2: She rolled Kristina in the first set and only when Kristina got on the board in the second set was she able to calm down. :hug: The third set was pretty high quality as Kristina went up 5-2 and 3 MP’s! Three clutch shots, back-to-back-to-back saved Michelle from being eliminated from the tournament. In the tiebreak, she was too mentally tough. Congrats, Michelle! :worship: Kristina. :sad: :hug:
