The Argentine Betina Jozami was got by a heap of fanatics in the airport of Barcelona where she gave a press conference.
The Argentine one was a champion of the tournament of doubles and on grass, surface that Betina does not like, last week together with your new companion Su-Wei Hsieh defeating in the final Russian Maria Kirilenko and Victoria Azarenka for 5-7 7-5 7-6 in 3 hours of game.
The Argentine one is in Barcelona where she is going to play in single and doubles and has a difficult Main Draw in the first wheel the Argentine one she was facing the French Virginie Razzano.

World no.17 and no.1 seed Kim Clijsters played her first match today against qualifier Su-Wei Hsieh. It was a 1hour thirty two minutes contest with powerful hitting and great rallies. In the end the higher ranked player cam out as the winner.

OMG i can't believe Kim is in the final again. Looks like our coach is really doing wonders for her:( and ofcourse neglecting me.:ras: But to be honest i am really happy for her as she is finally fulfilling her potential. She is facing Davenport in the final and it will definately be a tough match for Kim but i hope and think she will grind it out in tough three sets and hopefully win her second title!I really wish her the best of luck:)

World no.17 and no.1 seed Kim Clijsters defeated Virginie Razzano 6-2 7-6. Kim started out great hitting many winners and huge serve and therefore won the first set easily 6-2. In the second set Razzano started to play her game and lead 5-3 before falling apart. The match then went into a second set tie-breaker which Clijsters won and reached the semi!
''I am really excited to play the next match. I have started to feel much better out there as i felt great in the match but still there is room for improvement.''

World no.17 and no.1 seed Kim Clijsters will now face no.4 seed Paola Suarez in the semi-finals. Kim said in her post match interview of the quarter final that she is really excited to play the next match but its definately not gong to be easy against Paola.

World no.17 and no.1 seed Kim Clijsters defeated no.4 seed Paola Suarez in the semi-finals om a marathon match that lasted 3 hours and nineteen minutes. Clijsters won the first set on a tie-break but in the second set Paula fought back taking it 6-4. The third set was a classic and in the end Kim battled it out abd defeated Paula 7-6 4-6 8-6.
''Wow!! it was really a great match and i am really shocked i won it.I really wanted to retire in the 3rd set as my back was paining but still i finished my match and i am really happy that i won it!!

World no.17 and no.1 seed Kim Clijsters will now face Lindsay Davenport who upset second seed Camille Pin. She won that match 2-6 6-3 6-4. this is Kim's second consecutive final and her first on clay.

Despect of the only grasscourt tournament in Eastbourne, but some EWTA stars has also come to the exotic Barcelona to prepare for the next week's Wimbledon Championships.

Kim Clijsters, who won a title in s'Hertogenbosch last week, on grasscourts, prove to be one of the hottest players in this grasscourt season. She hasn't lost a match after Roland Garros, she is in super form, her coach definately is the happiest man in the tour because both his girls are playing good tennis. In her road to the final, Kim faces many tough tests, in her semifinal match against number four seed Suarez, Kim was up 5-2 in the final set and then Suarez fought back to level the match at 5-5, finally Kim won the set and match 7-6 4-6 8-6 in nearly three hours of play. From this match, we can see Kim was not so comfortable to close out the match, so against Lindsay's powerful groundstrokes, Kim has to do well with her footwork and defence!!

Lindsay Davenport, who is slumping in the claycourt season, and she is coming here without a high expectations as she said she didn't like clay, and she suddenely reaches her first final in her career, on clay!! I think she will be also surprised with the way she plays in this tournament. In her road to final, all her matches are three-setters, she overcomes her weakness, footwork on the red clay, defeating Hingis, Haynes and number two seed Camille Pin, all in three sets, so her stamina in the final may be pretty low, now she faces top seed, can she win the match in three set again??

In form Clijsters or dark horse Davenport?? Catch up the final at 2:30 pm(Perth time)!!

Ranings projection

This is probarly the most important thing that Kim and Lindsay wants to know!!;)

If Kim won the tournament, Kim will be ranked #15, and Lindsay will be ranked #35!!
If Lindsay won the tournament, Lindsay will be ranked #34, and Kim will still be ranked #16!!

There are not much differences if one of them won the tournament
It's good for Kim because she will be seeded at Wimbledon!!
