1.35am: Well, common sense has prevailed and they've called it off for the day/night/dawn/whatever you want to call this session. I've still not seen a schedule for tomorrow yet, but as soon as I do, it will be up on the schedule page asap.

It's been a fascinating evening, with Roger Federer and both Serena and Venus Williams out of the singles events and we’ve got more of the same coming up.

That's a good question!!!! The semis are not showing up on the schedule.

Either they play both semis and finals Saturday, or doubles and semis Friday.

Yes: the first three days had a couple of matches on each court from 10:30 before the hottest part of the day, and three or four matches from 17:00 after it.

It's just more of the same ridiculous tennis scheduling, unfortunately. The three matches in which players need to get caught up should've been scheduled to start around 10-11 in the morning, so they could get completed as early as possible to give the players more break time before having to play their next match... and, they should be the FIRST matches on the courts, period.

It's not like this is anything new... we shouldn't be at all surprised. :rolleyes:
