As indicated in the title, the winner of this "tournament" will get a WC into the MD of the professional US Open. Timea Babos and Kristina Kucova both have WCs into the US Open ... Who will get the third? Though this is a tournament, I've decided that there won't be any ranking points awarded.

This will be Round Robin event with four groups with for players in each group. The TOP scorer in each group will move on to the semifinals and will face off for that wildcard. :boxing:

If some of you didn't notice, we were short on three players so we will have 3 PC players. I will use random.org to randomize their points and they WILL ONLY BE RANDOMIZED ONCE. ;) Please welcome: :wavey:

By the way, they will only be playing this tournament. :p Though I might keep one of them as a PC player until we get 16 players in all. ;)

As for Timea and Kristina, I guess you guys can have an exhibition if you'd like. Make sure to post here if you're OK with that. :D

Are the PC players points going to be the same always as the PC players from the pro tour? Or are you gonna changed it?...:lol::lol:
Well Pam a win is a win and especially in straight sets... I think I always won in 3 sets so 2 it's a good sign:):):)

The PC players points will stay the same for the tournament. ;)
It's unfortunate because only one has a good chance at semis and that is Asia. :( :p
And I finally found a GREAT picture of Pam. :woohoo:

Awesome win for Amandine. :worship: To do it in straights, puts her back in contention in the red group. :yeah: She almost let it away in the second leading 5-2 but she was mentally strong in the tiebreak. :yeah: Urszula

Krunic def. Glushko 7-6[4], 6-4

Very high quality match here. :worship: I have to say Julia was REALLY unlucky in this match. :awww: Aleksandra won the MAJORITY of the CTs including the last one which decided the outcome of the set. With this loss especially in straights, the red group is wide open again. Good for Aleksandra who scored her first win over any player here doing so a good player in Julia. :yeah:

Nikola is feeling really confident right now. :worship: She had the much weaker third set compared to Kristina but her strokes matched well against Kristina’s and she was just physically and mentally too good in the final set tiebreak. :yeah: Kristina, it’s your second straight tight three set loss. :awww:

Aranza’s points are set to win in straight sets and she does just that against my PC player. :yeah: Shinann did much better in the second set, getting really close to the set. :awww: She is playing really well in practice but can't put it together on the court. :( Aranza, you are also on my list. Shinann can’t qualify for the semis. :crying2:

http://www.itftennis.com/shared/medialibrary/image/gallery/IO_28007_gallery.JPG
Hesse def. Krunic 6-3, 6-4

Since dropping her first match to Julia, Amandine has impressive closing out good players in straight sets. :yeah: Aleksandra was down 5-2 but she was able to bring it to 5-4 but just fell short. I have a feeling that third set would’ve been a huge contest. :awww: Congrats, Amandine! :worship: Aleksandra

What a high quality match! :worship: Julia has subpar results up to this exhibition and she has proven that she can be a top caliber player. With a little bit more dedication and luck, I know her results will improve because I was impressed this week. :yeah: I’m not sure if she will finish on top of her group, but she has got to be encouraged by this week’s play. :yeah: Urszula. :awww:

Now how impressive was that? :worship: Bojana picked up her game considerably after her loss to Vandeweghe, and now looks like she has a great shot at qualifying for the semifinals. As for Pam, she had to bring her A game for Bojana but today she just didn’t.

If you give Alexandra a chance to show her strong endurance, then you are getting yourself in a lot of trouble. Alexandra’s third set still remains IMO one of the strongest sets amongst a player on tour. :worship: And she grabs another win over Nastya. :yeah: Now to see who finishes on top of this group will be interesting … Nastya.

Sorry no pictures of Alexandra. :tape:

Aranza played a near perfect tactical match against just completely blanking her in the first set and then fighting back strongly from 5-1 in the 2nd to take it in straights. :yeah: She now advances to the semifinals to play for a spot in the US Open MD! :worship: Nikola is such a choker! :smash:  She chokes in every big opportunity! Your strong second set was good at first but not enough variety at the end as Aranza plays a similar style of play.

Bojana JUST pushes ahead by beating Pam in the final group match! :yeah: CoCo had a very good showing. Laura. :help:
