As indicated in the title, the winner of this "tournament" will get a WC into the MD of the professional US Open. :eek: Timea Babos and Kristina Kucova both have WCs into the US Open ... Who will get the third? :devil: Though this is a tournament, I've decided that there won't be any ranking points awarded.

This will be Round Robin event with four groups with for players in each group. The TOP scorer in each group will move on to the semifinals and will face off for that wildcard. :boxing:

If some of you didn't notice, we were short on three players so we will have 3 PC players. :devil: I will use random.org to randomize their points and they WILL ONLY BE RANDOMIZED ONCE. ;) Please welcome: :wavey:

Aranza’s points are set to win in straight sets and she does just that against my PC player. :yeah: Shinann did much better in the second set, getting really close to the set. :awww: She is playing really well in practice but can't put it together on the court. :( Aranza, you are also on my list. :devil: Shinann can’t qualify for the semis. :crying2:

What a match! :eek: :worship: Alexandra was down 6-2, 4-1 before she staged a brilliant comeback. :worship: The third set was pretty up and down for both players but it was Alexandra who came up with a clutch smash to win it. :drool: Asia has been excellent this tournament, definitely has performed the best among the PC players. Since dropping her first match to Julia, Amandine has impressive closing out good players in straight sets. :yeah: Aleksandra was down 5-2 but she was able to bring it to 5-4 but just fell short. :hug: I have a feeling that third set would’ve been a huge contest. :awww: Congrats, Amandine! :worship: Aleksandra :hug:

Aranza played a near perfect tactical match against just completely blanking her in the first set and then fighting back strongly from 5-1 in the 2nd to take it in straights. :yeah: She now advances to the semifinals to play for a spot in the US Open MD! :eek: :worship: Nikola is such a choker! :smash: :hug: She chokes in every big opportunity! Your strong second set was good at first but not enough variety at the end as Aranza plays a similar style of play. :hug:
