This will be a Level 2 event in Wels, Austria! :D (Nikola's home country event ;))

It's a really interesting draw with some really good matchups early on. Timi vs. Urszula = Will Amandine grab her second consecutive title and extend her lead as #1? Will Pamela get out of her slump and get some wins? Will Timi get herself back on track with another title? Will Urszula continue her hot form from last week? I'm really looking forward to score some of these matches. :)

Tournament starts later! Good luck all! :D Will still be accepting into later today. ;)

R1: Aranza Salut vs. [7]Kristina Kucova

http://www.itftennis.com/shared/medialibrary/image/gallery/IO_21225_gallery.JPG
[7]Kucova def. Salut 7-6[2], 2-6, 6-0

Aranza was very close to a straight set win here. :awww: But when you stack your points, you kind of have a disadvantage in the tiebreak. I’m definitely happy that you send new points, but like I said before your third set needs a lot of work. Try distributing your points out more ;) As for Kristina, you need to SEND me your points and not ask me to switch up your sets for you. :p Good win nonetheless and good luck in the QFs. ;)

R1: [8]Bojana Jovanovski vs. Aleksandra Krunic

http://www.itftennis.com/shared/medialibrary/image/gallery/IO_26553_gallery.JPG
[8]Jovanovski def. Krunic 6-1, 6-2

After getting wiped out last week by Radwanska, Bojana definitely turned up the level of her tennis on her Serbian compatriot to get the solid win! Aleksandra has yet to win a match on the Junior tour but she shouldn’t be discouraged. Only hard work and perseverance will get you to your best level so try sending new points more often. ;) As for Bojana, good luck in the next round. :D

[4]Hofmanova def. Robson 2-6, 6-0, 6-1

Downright impressive from Nikola in her home tournament. :worship: Laura definitely has an interesting set of points and Nikola handled her perfectly. After dropping the first set, Nikola wouldn’t go down without a fight in her home country and went on a streak of 11 games almost giving a double bagel.  Good luck in the next round. :D Seeds are doing well here. ;) As for Laura, good effort and good luck next tournament.

:speakles: Radwanska def. [3]Babos 6-3, 7-6[3] :speakles:

Just amazing. :worship: A couple of weeks ago, Urszula was completely out of sorts and hardly winning any matches. In the last week, Urszula made a SF and now has upset one of the hottest players on tour. It comes to show what a good change of points can do for you. As for Timi, maybe it’s time for a change in points. Good luck next round Urszula. :D That fight for the #8 spot will be really interesting.

That is a really impressive win for Kristina. :worship: After last week’s disappointing loss to Glushko, she handled herself very well in this match. :yeah: Alexandra’s third set is definitely one of the strongest on tour and Kristina was just plain awesome in the third set. :worship: Good luck in the next round. ;) As for Alexandra, good luck next tournament.

[6]Palyvuchenkova def. Glushko 6-3, 4-6, 6-2

First solid win for Nastya in awhile now. :yeah: After dropping the second set, Nastya was really solid as a rock in the third but set but also she was very lucky with the CTs in this match. :awww: Now she will get a chance at the #2 seed Pam Montez. Good luck. :D As for Julia, she has promised new points for a long time now and still hasn’t sent. :o She is often able to bring the top players to three sets but never close out the win. :awww: Good luck next tournament.

 [7]Kucova def. [1]Hesse 3-6, 7-5, 6-2

You gotta feel for Amandine at this point. :awww:  Kristina was REALLY lucky she got away with this match, she won like every CT in the second set. [Blame random.org :help:] IMO, Amandine was way more deserving of this win but Kristina shows some great fight and determination to gut out the win. :worship: :yeah: Another semifinal now for Kristina, good luck. ;) :yeah: As for Amandine, it’s just that case when sometimes the better player loses the match. Good luck next tournament. ;)

http://www.fedcup.com/shared/medialibrary/image/gallery/FC_3035_gallery.JPG
[4]Hofmanova def. [8]Jovanovski 6-4, 6-2

Just plain awesome tennis from Nikola. :worship: After toughening out a great first set, Nikola quietly played her game just too well in the second for Bojana to stage a comeback. Certainly, Nikola has one of the best sets on tour with that second set. :worship: I just can’t see her losing that set. She moves on to the semifinals of her home tournament and faces Kristina Kucova for a spot in the final. :D As for Bojana, good luck next week. ;)

QF: Urszula Radwanska vs. [5]Kristina Mladenovic

http://images1.fotosik.pl/74/72fbc373b2278001med.jpg
 Radwanska def. [5]Mladenovic 6-3, 6-3

When I started running the tour, these were two of the players who I thought would definitely be in the Top 4 of the rankings. One of them in Kristina has done well to have OK results and still be #6 in the world. The other in Urszula has completely fallen off the mark and stands just inside the Top 10. However, after starting to train harder and become more dedicated Urszula is starting to live up to her potential. After crushing #3 Timea Babos yesterday, she came out with the same intensity in doing so to Mladenovic. She is now in her second consecutive semifinal and will face the winner of Palyvuchenkova and Montez for a spot in the final. :worship: Kristina, good luck next week. ;)

[2]Montez def. [6]Palyvuchenkova 3-6, 6-4, 6-0

Good on Pam, she really wants to get back on track this week. Similar to the Hesse vs. Kucova match, Nastya was the better player for most of that second but the CT order affected and Pam was just able to squeeze out the set. After that, Pam never looked back and comfortably closed out the win. :worship: It’s Pam’s first semifinal in ages it seems.  She hasn’t won a title since winning Roland Garros. :bolt: Will this be her title? As for Nastya, good luck next week. ;)

Definitely one of the weirdest matches I’ve scored in ATT Juniors. :rolls: :weirdo: Kristina takes the first set in a bagel and Nikola almost offers one back. :weirdo: :spit: The third set saw Nikola go up 3-0 but then lose 6 straight games. :help: Nikola needs to see a psychologist because she is such a choker. :o :help: With a little bit of luck and a lot of skill, Kristina is now in the finals. I didn’t see this coming at the beginning of the week but she will be gunning for her second title. :yeah: As for Nikola, good tournament and good luck next week.

 Radwanska def. [2]Montez 6-4, 1-6, 6-3

Urszula is such a deserving finalist. :worship: She finally sent new points which happened to be very good and now she is playing on top of her game. :worship: In the first set, truthfully Urszula was lucky as it could’ve been Pam’s set. The second set, there were also some CTs that all went to Pam though it didn’t really matter as she would’ve the set anyways. The third set was high quality with Pam fighting from 4-1 down to take it to 4-3 as Urszula started to show some nerves. At the end however, Urszula brought her game to the next level to make her first Juniors final. :worship: She will face Kristina Kucova for the title. As for Pam, encouraging week for you. Good luck next week. ;)

GAME, SET, CHAMPIONSHIP [7]KRISTINA KUCOVA!
:worship: 6-3, 7-5 :worship:

What a finale, especially that second set! :worship: Kristina has proven to be so tough mentally tough in the rough situations having to fight back against Aranza and Amandine. After she got really lucky with her match against Amandine, I had a gut feeling she would take the title and she did! It’s her second ATT Juniors title and she will get a WC into the next pro event! As for Urszula, tough luck. :awww:  You had an amazing week however and probably will be a favorite for the US Open! :yeah: Who knows what would’ve happened had you won the second set, but still good tournament.
