Caroline is playing on her least favourite surface, while Mariya is playing on a surface she reach SF on last week, so she is full of confidence. Also Mariya is this year 14-9 on clay and 6-7 on all other surfaces, so she seems to prefer clay a bit. And 5 of those 9 loses have been to Cornet, Schnyder, Schiavone, A. Radwanska and Sugiyama.:o
