As one of the most reputed US Open Series tournaments, Stanford hopes to shine as much with its tennis (http://www.tennisforum.com/showthread.php?t=310036#) tournament as it does with its university. The Tier II tournament marks the beginning of the North American hardcourt swing, some PYW stars to compete, even in the qualifying draw.
