OK, good. :yeah:
Juju will be back even better during the hardcourt season.
She couldn't play well during the grass season because she was still depressed about her RG QF loss.

http://www.itfmonteroni.com/eimages%5Cnews%5Cjovanovsky.jpg
[7]Jovanovski def. Krunic 6-1, 6-3
And Bojana wins the battle of the young Serbs! :yeah: Aleksandra didn't play too bad of a match but her strokes matched perfectly to Bojana's. :awww: It's only Aleksandra's first match so she should improve as time goes on. :) On the other hand, Bojana continues her impressive form. She is looking to make her third consecutive final. On a whole different note, Serbia may have an impressive Fed Cup team next year. ;) It's a conincidence that the same two people coach all of the Serbians  (DavenportForever: Ivanovic, Jovanovski; ce: Jankovic, Krunic).
Daniela-Is-Mine Jul 11th, 2008, 04:21 AM god help me
Karat0589 Jul 11th, 2008, 04:22 AM R1: Alexandra Filipnovski vs. [8]Kristina Kucova
http://tmp.aktualne.centrum.sk/soumar/img/1034/3/10340363-kristina-kucova.jpg
 Filipnovski def. [8]Kucova 7-5, 6-7[5], 6-1
Poor Kristina. :awww: In her post match interview, she certainly doesn't look like answering questions. :spit: As Slovakia's next big sensation, is the pressure starting to mount her? :awww: It's her second consecutive tournament where she didn't make the semifinals. In her first three, she made at least the semifinals. When you are playing that well, you are bound to have a letdown somewhere. But for Alexandra, she played brilliant tennis. Despite losing the second set in a close tiebreak, she used it rather as a positive and took her tennis to the next level. :worship: And she wins her first Junior MD match. :)
Daniela-Is-Mine Jul 11th, 2008, 04:23 AM

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3194/2570095603_6e75fca1a6.jpg?v=0
[4]Hofmanova def. Glushko 3-6, 6-3, 6-2
This match was very similar to their last match at Wimbledon. :awww: However, the second set Nikola played better tennis and was able to catch the momentum quicker than at the All-England Club. The 4th seed will play Alexandra Filipovski for a spot in the semifinals. :) As for Julia, she still hasn't won a Junior MD match, but she has had very bad draws as of late.
Karat0589 Jul 11th, 2008, 04:33 AM R1: Aranza Salut vs. [6]Anastasia Palyvuchenkova
http://cache.daylife.com/imageserve/08EGcZx07Rgno/340x.jpg
[6]Palyvuchenkova def. Salut 6-4, 1-6, 6-1
Kind of a weird match here with lots of shifts in momentum. Anastasia, with her more experience handled the situation much better though. :) Opposed to Kristina, Nastya was all smiles in her post match interview. :awww: :) Good effort from Aranza. At least her points were sent correctly this time! :yeah: :D
dulkogii Jul 11th, 2008, 04:35 AM I cant win more match!:(
Karat0589 Jul 11th, 2008, 04:37 AM R1: [5]Kristina Mladenovic vs. Urszula Radwanska
http://www.itftennis.com/shared/medialibrary/image/gallery/IO_27990_gallery.JPG
[5]Mladenovic def. Radwanska 4-6, 6-3, 6-3
Same scoreline as their last match. :p Kristina used her variety well today often baffling Urszula. :yeah: She also showed her great fighting spirit, fighting back from one set down to overall take a very comfortable win. :worship: She will face 2nd seed Pamela Montez in the quarterfinals. Urszula, please change points. :o
Karat0589 Jul 11th, 2008, 04:38 AM I cant win more match!:(
Nastya was one of the toughest draws you can get right now. :awww: Actually, it's hard to find a good draw at this point because everyone seems to be playing well right now. Just keep on giving effort, you will win another match at one point.
Karat0589 Jul 11th, 2008, 04:39 AM Quarterfinals, semifinals, and finals results will be posted tomorrow. :D
ce Jul 11th, 2008, 09:58 AM Aleksandra
but its your first tourni
Karat0589 Jul 11th, 2008, 12:37 PM Quarterfinals results coming up ...:D
Karat0589 Jul 11th, 2008, 12:42 PM QF: [1]Amandine Hesse vs. [7]Bojana Jovanovski
http://www.itftennis.com/shared/medialibrary/image/gallery/IO_28006_gallery.JPG
[1]Hesse def. [7]Jovanovski 6-2, 2-6, 6-4
This is a really good win for Amandine. :worship: She has been sort of struggling for awhile now and to be in the semifinals is right now a great result for her. :yeah: However, I'm not entirely convinced that she is back yet. :p There were a lot of CT's and she won the crucial won in the third set. Had she not won that CT, Bojana might've been able to win the match. :awww: For Bojana, she has had great results in the past coming weeks and today she almost came off the court the winner.
Karat0589 Jul 11th, 2008, 12:47 PM QF: Alexandra Filipovski vs. [4]Nikola Hofmanova
http://www.tgocn.com/tgocn_manage/uploadfile/200711/2007111912041026.jpg
Filipovski def. [4]Hofmanova 4-6, 7-6[0], 6-3
And she backs up her win against Kristina in brilliant fashion. :worship: This was not an easy matchup for Nikola and it proved dividends today. What I noticed is that Alexandra has great fitness and game, that she is able to not play well in one set, but pick it up in the next two. So if you really want a chance at beating her, you will have to do so in straights because no one is going to beat that third set. Alexandra wins two consecutive matches and will now meet #1 seed Amandine Hesse for a spot in the final.
Karat0589 Jul 11th, 2008, 12:52 PM QF: [3]Michelle Larcher de Brito vs. [6]Anastasia Palyvuchenkova
http://www.itftennis.com/shared/medialibrary/image/staticarticle/IO_31855_staticarticle.JPG
[6]Palyvuchenkova def. [3]Larcher de Brito 6-3, 6-2
This may look like an upset on paper, but in my book it isn't. Nastya is playing excellent tennis after winning her first title in Halle and she isn't looking to stop here! :yeah: She just completely destroyed the #3 seed matching up her groundstrokes with some big shots of her own! :worship: In the semifinals, she will be facing the winner of 5th seed Kristina Mladenovic and 2nd seed Pamela Montez. Michelle, maybe it's time for a point change.
Karat0589 Jul 11th, 2008, 12:56 PM QF: [5]Kristina Mladenovic vs. [2]Pamela Montez
http://www.itftennis.com/shared/medialibrary/image/gallery/IO_27989_gallery.JPG
 [5]Mladenovic def. [2]Montez 4-6, 6-3, 6-1
Whoa. :bolt: I haven't seen this kind of result from Kristina in awhile. This is a great win for her and her confidence! :worship: After dropping the first set, she completely destroyed Pam and outplayed her. :yeah: She is in another semifinal in the coming weeks and will face 6th Anastasia Palyvuchenkova for a spot in the final. :D As for Pamela, where has that dominant player gone? :awww:
Karat0589 Jul 11th, 2008, 12:58 PM Semifinals results coming up as well ...:D
Karat0589 Jul 11th, 2008, 01:04 PM SF: [1]Amandine Hesse vs. Alexandra Filipovski
http://www.tennisphotos.org/gallery2/d/475-2/champfr07_Hesse_amandine-06.jpg
 Filipovski def. [1]Hesse 2-6, 7-5, 6-1
Wow. :bolt: Didn't see that coming, but it goes back to my original analysis on Alexandra's game: You are going to have to beat her in straights. Or if you have a very tough third set as well, you may match up with her well. But today it was just Alexandra's day. Amandine was leading 6-2, 5-4 but Alexandra never gave in taking the second and then romping through her opponent in the third. :worship: As for Amandine, today it wasn't meant to be. And to answer your question, I still find you strokes a bit patchy.
Karat0589 Jul 11th, 2008, 01:11 PM SF: [6]Anastasia Palyvuchenkova vs. [5]Kristina Mladenovic
http://cache.daylife.com/imageserve/05hA1cYftU3LI/340x.jpg
[6]Palyvuchenkova def. [5]Mladenovic 6-3, 7-5
And both Frenchies crash out in the same round.  It's still a great result for Kristina, despite the loss today. It's really good to see her playing at a high level again! :D  As for Nastya, she advances to the final where she will face giant killer Alexandra Filipovski for a chance for the title. :yeah:
Karat0589 Jul 11th, 2008, 01:12 PM Final w/live scores later ... :D
I already scored it but will post later. It was one heck of a final. :worship:
young_gunner913 Jul 11th, 2008, 06:55 PM Julia always gets the harder draws. It's obvious the junior tournament official is Larry Scott Jr. :p

Sorry.
When I use random.org I randomize the unseeded players/seeded players three times and for some reason you always get paired with Nikola. :tape:
But these days it's so hard to find a good draw. Most of the seeds are playing so well. :hearts:

GAME, SET, CHAMPIONSHIP ALEXANDRA FILIPOVSKI
7-6[0], 7-5
And this match caps off an amazing tournament here in Canada. :worship: It comes to show what persistence can bring to you. :yeah: Alexandra had early troubles in her career not being able to win a match but now she has taken wins over #8 Kucova, #4 Hofmanova, #1 Hesse, and #6 Palyvuchenkova. :worship: As for Nastya, she choked big time having a set point in the first set and four set points in the second sets but couldn't close it out. :tape: She was attempting to win her second title but couldn't close it out. As for Alexandra, congrats to your first Juniors title! :worship:
