After rebound ace and clay it looked like our prayers had been answered and Misa was going to tumble down to the rankings, but no, during the grass season she took performance-enhancing drugs found her game and unbelievably became #1 :o She's got 4 titles, but they're all mickey mouse events, so it's unlikely she'll win this week

For the second season in a row, Tammy won a Slam :yeah: Her game picked up a lot during the hardcourt season and she safely made it to Madrid, she won the Australian Open with 2 aces so don't count her out this week.

Momo's highlight of the season was definitely Wimbledon where she recovered from last season's nightmare to win her first GS, several other strong results ensured her safe passage through to the championships.

Alicia has been an extremely consistent performer this season, always making the QFs and the SFs, and having won the title in Antwerp with 0 aces, she could be a threat here this week.

Mauresmo def. Clijsters

And Amelie takes the other spot in the final! :worship: This was a tense battle, but Momo was a little too crafty for Clijsters in the end, still a great season Kim
The Daviator Jul 12th, 2008, 11:52 AM Updated Draw

Finalists now have the option of changing their points, good luck to both ;)
BWLH Jul 12th, 2008, 12:59 PM Momo will surely take this now.:)
JJ,Kim
Vamos. Jul 12th, 2008, 03:38 PM Allez!
I want to win this. :armed:
Molik is gunna be so tough though. Cannot quite decide how to go about doing points! Hmmm.
Vamos. Jul 12th, 2008, 05:02 PM Amelie is ready. :armed:
young_gunner913 Jul 12th, 2008, 05:12 PM Let's go Amelie! :bounce:
BWLH Jul 12th, 2008, 05:28 PM  it took around 1 and a half for Momo to ready for this.;)
Go Momo! Don't disappoint us!
It would be :tape: if Alicia wins this.;) :p
Vamos. Jul 12th, 2008, 06:24 PM It never takes me more than 1-2 minutes to send points, Ben, you fool. Of course it didn't take 1.5 hours. It was 1.5 minutes. Then I came back and posted that message. :rolls:
Alicia probably will win.

Another attempt to jinx your opponent?:haha:
Don't say me if you have the guts to say these words.;)
Vamos. Jul 12th, 2008, 06:46 PM Nope. Massive difference saying "Alicia probably will win". That is just me stating my own personal opinion.
You don't hear me saying I have "no chance" and I've definitely lost. And I'm retiring. And being ultra melodramatic. And then, hey, what do you know...you've gone and won again.
huge difference.
I know I have a chance to win. Its almost 50/50 but based on the grasscourt season I slightly favour Alicia. That is all.

These are also based on own opinions. and it's not ALWAYS happening.:p :nerner:
Anyway, both of you have 4 Aces on grass and now you have 2 extra aces than her. No worries. You'll win in 3 sets.;)
Vamos. Jul 12th, 2008, 07:06 PM ...it happens when you really want to do well. But, whatever. I don't do it. And thats the end.
I have 1 extra Ace. It is as tight as could be, it will be a good match. I'm happy with my tournament anyway...it secures my top 3 finish, I believe. :bounce:
The Daviator Jul 12th, 2008, 07:16 PM Momo and Alicia are 3 and 4 in the rankings, so this match will actually decide who finishes 3rd :p
BWLH Jul 12th, 2008, 07:21 PM
If Momo loses, she might be #4, Tammy #3, Alicia #2.
If Alicia loses, Momo will be #3, Alicia #2, Tammy #4
???
