Nikola romps through a very tough opener. :eek: I was expecting a much tougher match but Niki was cool and collected and gave it her all out there. :yeah: It was one of her best matches this year, and she advances to go up against 3rd seeded Michelle Larcher de Brito. :D For Alexandra, keep on working on your strategy. Personally, I felt your first strategy was better BUT you were very unlucky today. :hug:

Bojana continues her brilliant form here in Fiji. :worship: After a first set blowout, Bojana was able to regroup nicely taking them with relative ease. :) She is now through to her second consecutive tour level semifinal and will face the winner of Michelle Larcher de Brito and Nikola Hofmanova. :) For Amandine, don't worry. :p :hug: You have such a lead at #1 and this is only a Level 2. :hug: Don't get too comfortable though. ;)

Performance of the tournament by far. :worship: Michelle looks to be back in form after being in a bit of a slump after winning an event on clay in Spain. :) Nikola did really well to fight back in the first set being down 5-1 and she was also down 5-1 in the second but this time around Michelle was able to close it out. The third set was high quality but at the end Michelle was more lucky. :hug: In the semifinals, Michelle will face young Serb Bojana Jovanovski.

It's been awhile since I've posted this picture. :lol: Pam will be elated to be on the winning side of things now. :) After falling quickly behind, Pam fought well showing her strong stamina and williness to fight for the match. At the end, Pam had a little bit more in the tank and gets to her first semifinal in awhile. :) For Kristina, it's her first loss before the semifinals. :hug: She lost to a very good opponent, so no shame in that. :hug: #2 Montez will now face her Wimbledon conqueror Timea Babos. :eek:

Just make sure you send correct points. The first time I let you get away w/ it but this time it was actually worse than the first time. :shrug: I know that if you send correctly, you will do well because even without two missing strokes, you almost beat Babos at Wimbledon. :)

I like it. Bojana's strokes matched up well against yours that was the only problem. Well at least you exploited her weak first set which is her worst set IMO. :)

However, you didn't fix that patch that I would've liked you to fix. :p I know you can figure it out if you look at your points. It's in your second and third sets now. Before it was only in the third. ;)

Not like that patch really matters, you still win w/ even little problems in your strokes which you proved this year. ;)

This week however, Michelle was luckier in third set but to Bojana's credit, she was able to close it out. :worship: Bojana is in her second straight final and will face the winner of Babos and Montez. :) Michelle seems to be close to coming back to her good form again. :hug:

Pam just needs a little bit more luck in the final two sets. :awww: She was leading 5-4 in the second with a MP. :hug: For some reason, Pam won the CT's in the first, while Timea won the CT's in the second and third just like at Wimbledon. :hug:

Very similar to the result at Wimbledon so no surprises here. :p For Timea, she wins her second straight title after her glorious run to the title at Wimbledon backing it up well. :rocker2: She's proven that she can play on the dirt, grass, and the hard stuff now with this win and should get a WC into a pro event! Maybe the event in Budapest in front of the home crowd. :angel: For Bojana, she can only take the positives from this match. She is one of the hottest players right now and made her second consecutive final. She will probably close to within the Top 8 in the rankings now. Her time for a title will come. :hug:
