Hello everyone!

The first season ended not too long ago, but now the second season is starting. I can't wait for the new season, for me to finally get back on the court and to keep living my dream by playing something I love, tennis, is amazing and something not many get to do. Even though, I got my current coach a little more than half way through the first season, we had a great partnership and it was shown through my results.
The first season was amazing, there are so many great things that happened. My most memorable moment was in San Diego, I return from injury, had no ranking and was able to win both the singles and doubles events. It was an amazing feeling to share this great moment with my sister, with whom I won the doubles title with. We had a big celebration after the finals and this will be a moment I will never forget!
Serena and I aren't all about tennis though. During the off-season, we went to our house in Palm Springs and just relaxed. We went to the beach, which is close to our home, went to some red carpet parties and just tried to have some fun. We also wanted to connect more with our fans, so we did a tour across the US to go to towns where there isn't much tennis and play charity matches there. It was fun, Serena and I tried to keep it competitve. It was such a great atmosphere, to be so close to the people who have supported us and the people who admire us.
After the tour, Serena and I went on a plane to New Zealand to train. We immediately trained once we got there and tried to get ourselves in the best shape before new season. I happen to think we are in great shape. But I have been doing so much work that I need a thigh strapping as a precaution to make sure my thigh won't get any worse.
Serena and I will aim to do well in Auckland and hope to both make the finals. We will also be in the doubles, which is good for us since it definately helps out with our singles play by making our games better.
I have set some goals for myself this season, and they are:
1. Make the top 10
2. Win a Grand Slam
3. Win a Mixed Title
4. Win a Grass Tournament
I hope to achieve most of them, and I believe that I can.
Well that's all for now, stay tuned for more.

Yours Truly,
Vee
