Fantastic début

Morroco, Fes. The Argentina 19-year-old Betina Jozami of age gave the surprise in the one day in qualy. She defeat the seed number 1 the German and recent finalist of Estoril Martina Muller for 5-7 6-3 6-3 and she classify to the final round of the qualy to achieve a place in the Main Draw.- It´s a hard match, Martina is a good player but I won the match - Jozami said.

The French who already eliminated to her best friend last week in Estoril today did not have any problem her to do business and to go on to the following round where she was facing to the Argentina MA Emilia Salerni that she defeat to Alona Bondarenko giving a surprise..

Well I knew I would be pllaying the winner of this match but I dint know it would be so one sided. Elena will be tough to beat, and I expect her to put up a fight. I want to get ahead quick against her and then close out solidly. She played great today but I think I can get her tomorrow.

I cant wait till she advances on to see how she does in the latter rounds with the pressure and all, and She was left out o Fed Cup but I think its wise she played here as she scored her foirst win. Martina wasnt herself today and we went out for a drink to cheer her up. I of course didnt have alcohol, Im to youn[makes an angelic face]

Nikki woke up after tanking the first set. Marta is to good to lose slash choke liek she did. She alo came for some none alcoholic beverages [chuckles]

Wow, what a shock. Alona is an amazing player who just didnt do well in that last tiebreak. Paola has always had great results but this has ben her greatest triumph in a while.

Camille's serve was on fire actually serving well and getting by her weakness. She made it seeem easy as she only let Rezai take five games. Aravane looked akward on the clay and her power was diluded. Camille's slices and volleys were impecable. And her frequent doubles is making her play well.

Alize proving that she can play with the big kids and play as wel if not better than her hitting partner Alona Bondarenko. Pitu was doing great until Alize started running around her fore hand to it better and better angles. Alizes mental game was supberb.

The doubles partners squared off and it really paaid of for the younger and lower rankened one. Agi was very consistent waiting for oppertunities to break. Jusine didnt look well and is usually great on clay. She wasnt herself but nevertheless Agi did well.

Dinara! she beat the Bangalore champ due to her own gritty ness. She was on or infront of the base line the whole match bieng much more aggressive then the numbere three doubles player. Masl rebounded but a bit to late.

Monica is not wasting her wid card her as she was very sharp this whole match, It came down to more or less three pointsbut Monica prevailed.

Angela also used her wildcard to he best of her ability neutralizing Shuais power. Shuai didnt like the clay but s=till had a stunning first set. Angela woke up and won th match.

Poor Iveta is really lumping. I want to give her a hug. Im confident she'll wake up soom. JJ was so smart drawing errors knowing Iveta just wasnt happy. Both deserved to pass but only one did.

Jie Proves why shes playing a as well as she is. Hard work. SHes always practicing and always playing doubles ready to show up to any challenge dismantling Na in two easy sets.

Kim Clijsters def. (WC)Anna Chakvetadze 6-4 6-4

Kim and Anna both hated this really slow court but it was Kim who won. Anna needs to tie loose ends and start winning matces again, like she does in doubles. Kimm drew loads of errors, congrats.

Thsi match was beauiful but it came down to two points which came down to clay court experience. Tatis serve broke down in each tie break and Ana just hit loads of winners making the difference.

Last weeks finalist is out for blood really wanting to win theis tournament. Tadde was far better than the new Ai. Ai could do well but wasnt ready for this hefty hefty challenge.

Camille get past Suarez.

Fes, Morrocco. The French Camille Pin overcome successfully the second round of the tournament and win Paola Suarez for 6-2 6-4. Playing with an excellent drive and a service of 80 % of them extract camille classify to the quarters final where one was facing Agnieszka Radwanska of Poland that today I had to fight to win Alize Cornet.
- I am so happy. I do the things well and with good it resulted in a little time in court - Camille said.

Pin say goodbye!

Pin was the highest ranked player going into the quarterfinals and her shock exit has left the draw wide open. The Frenchwoman would have viewed the tournament as a golden opportunity to capture tournament and after blowing leads in both sets, her 4-6 7-5 7-6 defeat will be all the more difficult to stomach.
The Poland got off to the perfect start , breaking her serve in the opening game. Pin hit back immediately, reeling off four straight games to take control of the first set. The 25-year-old held a set point at 5-3, but with the set at her mercy, she tightened-up. Radanszka capitalized on her opponent's nerves, forcing the set into a tie-break which she won with comparative ease.
Pin recovered well from this disappointment, moving into a 4-3 second set lead. However, from here she won only two more points.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

Camille hospitalized

Camille not this one well and it was hospitalized in Morrocco's hospital due to an injury that she had inher back playing for the quarters final of the tournament in Fes, Morrocco where it was defeated by the Polish Agnieszka Radwanska.
The injury was not serious but by precaution camille was taken to the hospital I hope that she does not go to major. Good luck Camille

This ia a great final when the nations are competing at the Fed Cup, Agnes, the wolrd number 4, surely is the favourite in this match, she has an impressive 2008, but she still doesn't get a title, this is her second chance to win a title, so will she win this small tournament in Morocco and grow up her confidence!! Her road to final is pretty impressive, expect the win over newcomer Alexandra Stevenson, Agnes shows her mental tough and she hits perfect in that match, just because Alexandra is also hitting so good, so the scoreline is shown that other people may think Agnes is doing bad there!

And Jelena, what a dream run for her, this is her first time to reach the final, and now she needs to face the world number 4 Agnes Szavay, so will she win it?? Jelena is a very steady player, the most impressive run before this tournament was semifinal at Paris[Indoors] tournament as a qualifer and she lost to eventual champion Svetlana Kuznetsova. But noone can predict what Jelena will do, she loves playing on clay and she has already beaten the number 2 & 3 seed at this tournament, so will she also beat the number 1 seed??
