What a performance from the qualifier! :speakles: :clap2: After dropping the first set, Kristina fought well with solid groundstrokes to force Pam into errors and weak strokes. These new players are just absolutely fearless! :eek: Pam went from 7 straight wins to now 2 losses in a row. Is she becoming more vulnerable? The weak second set is really starting to show as the players' level have really increased since Week 1.

This time the young Frenchie didn't disappoint her home crowd. :worship: After dropping the first set, Kristina used great variety to completely baffle Ula. :yeah: IMO, Kristina has a great tactic and is one of the only all-around players out there. Hopefully her potential will finally start to shine through. :)

This definitely was one of the funniest matches I scored all year. :roll: Timea led 6-0, 4-0(!) before Nikola was finally able to 4-4 but from then it on they both had the same exact tactic so it was all coin tosses. :lol: Unfortunately for Nikola it was too little too late. :awww: For Timea, every time she delays sending points, her results just gets better! :haha:

And both Frenchies are in the semis in their home tournament! :worship: It was a disappointing performance in Paris, but Amandine stepped it up in this match. It was an impressive effort from Aranza whom had a match point at 5-4 but the crowd yelled and jeered for Amandine which discouraged Aranza. Unfortunately for Aranza, she used too many aces in the final set which permitted Amandine to crush her in the tiebreak. :awww:

And the Frenchie wins the battle of Kristinas! :eek: :lol: And she is also now the first finalist in her home tournament! :worship: Overall, Mladenovic was just the better player today. :yeah: Kucova did well to fight back in the second set but after having to qualify and beating World #1 Pam Montez just took too much of her energy and she couldn't handle it. :awww:

World #2 Amandine Hesse ends the hopes of the young Austrian for her first final in desructive fashion. :angel: Timea was definitely tough at the beginning hitting big serves and returns but by the second set she was out of energy. :rolls: Amandine steamrolled her inexperienced opponent and handed her a bagel for lunch to make another final! It's an all-Frenchie final!!! :drool: For some reason I can't find a lot of Amandine pics :( so coach please if you can. :angel:

The French people came into a packed house at the main stadium to watch this match of the promising future stars. Both want to play on the main tour someday with their compatriots Amelie Mauresmo and Tatiana Golovin. Sadly, the final didn't live up to their expectations as Amandine romped through the final taking vital breaks to seal it in two easy sets. :( Props to Kristina. She made an effort sending new points but right now she is still owned by Amandine. Congratulations to Amandine on her FOURTH ATT Junior title! :eek: :worship: She won the Orange Bowl over Radwanska, Malta over Larcher de Brito (when coached by Karat :crying2: ;)), and Taiwan over Mladenovic. Now the big step for her is get that big win over Pam Montez and the new Michelle Larcher de Brito.

Amandine went 1-2 after qualifying in Barcelona. She lost two of her MD matches in tough matches but beat Tatiana Golovin 6-1 6-4. :angel: :hearts:
