This is the most competitive final we have had on OWTT - three really tense sets between these two. Jankovic really stepped it up at 4-5 in the first set to win it. Jankovic looked as though she would take it after fighting back from 0-4 to 4-4 in the second, but Dechy held her nerve and played some great tennis to send it to the decider, where Jankovic started well, going up an early break. Although Dechy broke back to 4-4, it was Jankovic who had more firepower in the end, and she came over the finishing line to win her second title in a row - a feat only achieved by Peer and Dementieva before this week! Dechy plays well in USA after reaching finals in Indian Wells and Miami, but she needs to find that extra gear in the finals, which I am sure will come soon. Great match! :)
