First Set Analysis: Ula definitely started out stronger but I was really impressed with Nikola’s aggressiveness as she stormed to take the next 5 games. Ula came up CLUTCH in saving 2 of Nikola’s set points with weaker strokes but Nikola was lucky to take the set through a coin toss. Had Ula won the coin toss, she would have a 6-5 lead with now Nikola coming up CLUTCH with a big save with a weaker stroke herself. However, Ula would’ve taken the set as she used less aces in the first set.

Third Set Analysis: When I was comparing the strokes before starting, I really thought that Nikola was going to win this match. But Ula is a freaking beast. :worship: Her strokes matched up perfectly to Nikola’s in that final set and she really deserved to win. Ula could’ve won this match 7-6(2), 6-0 if the coin toss went her way but that’s how it goes sometimes. Congrats, Ula! :D Nikola :hug:You really seemed to take notes from my brother’s comments last week and I think you improved very much this week. :yeah:

First Set Analysis: Very straightforward set. Pamela started and ended well. However, luck may have played out with the outcome of the set. Poor Ula has Lady Luck against her.

Second Set Analysis: This set was definitely much more compelling. The set was on serve for most of the set until Ula finally went into another gear to finally break. This time around Ula had Lady Luck on her side both times to be able to take the set. However, it wouldn’t have changed the outcome of the set.

Third Set Analysis: Pamela’s third set points completely matched up against Ula’s. It seemed as if Pamela spread out her points better than Ula. Lady Luck was again on Ula’s side this set but it couldn’t change the inevitable. First Set Analysis: Smooth-sailing for Nikola. The coin toss that brought it 2-2 really helped her a lot. Again her aggressive strategy gets her the first set. Will she able to hold the level for the next two sets is the real question.

Second Set Analysis: This was a really topsy turvy set. Both players have very tentative and weak second sets which makes for a real dogfight! The coin toss that went against Nikola at 3-3 really hurt her. From that point on, Pamela was able to grab some inspiration to keep fighting and it paid off at the end.

Third Set Analysis: Nikola certainly doesn't look like answering questions to the press in that picture. :lol: My heart really goes out to Nikola. :awww: Her third set points are very good IMO but her opponents come up with clutch shots at the right moments. The third set was definitely much tighter than the score indicates. Maybe a bit of advice that I can give to Nikola is to vary her shots a little bit more. ;) You have the right idea in aggressiveness though. :D Possibly the best match of the tournament yet, it could've gone either way. :bowdown: Congrats to Pamela! :worship: She won both of her matches! :yeah: Again, I'd appreciate if her coach can send me more pictures of Pam. ;)

Personally, I thought that your match against Pam was the best match yet. :) You really were close as your points are really similar to that of Pam but her is a bit more varied. :D

First Set Analysis: High quality match! First tiebreak of the tournament! Urszula started out the better player in this match but Kristina was definitely much fresher. She was able to fight back from a 4-1 deficit to go up 5-4 and 6-5 to have set points of her own but wasn’t able to take it. Kristina had used less aces in the first set so she took it easily in the tiebreak.

Second Set Analysis: Going over Kristina’s tactics, I have to say that I had some worries about it but now I realize it’s a really strong strategy. :yeah: Kristina has really strong self-belief and she is not afraid to fight back into a set! First Set Analysis: Same old story for Nikola. She wins the first set in brilliant fashion! She could’ve won the first set 6-1 had the coin tosses gone her way. When Kristina won the coin tosses, I was really getting nervous for Nikola. Well done to her for keeping up her level to take the set. She is also the first player to take a set from Kristina! Now the real question is if she can keep up the level in the next two sets.

Final Set Analysis: What a match! :eek: Oh, how I love the drama… :drool: Finally, Nikola won a match and fitting that she does it in this fashion! She really deserves it considering she could’ve also won one of her matches against either Pam or Ula. :clap2: It looked as if she might choke having been 4-1 up but those last 4 games was just pure drama. First Set Analysis: Pamela came out on fire and there was no messing around with her. She jumped out to a 5-0 lead with some blazing serves and groundstrokes! There was nothing that Kristina could do. Kristina did well to save some set points but it was too little too late. Maybe the bit of a fight will come into Kristina’s favor in the second set.

Second Set Analysis: The second set was really tight. There was a lot of coin tosses that went in Pam’s way. It looked as if Pam would close this match out in convincing style. However, the most important coin went in Kristina’s favor and gave her the inspiration to take the set. Had Pam won the coin toss, she’d still lose the set 7-5. She was becoming too tenative while Kristina was becoming more aggressive.

Third Set Analysis: What brought Pamela to the winner’s circle, is her strong fitness and her strong will and determination. :yeah: She won all of her matches this tournament in three sets. :eek: She also saved her best for the end which is something that all true champions have. She didn’t let Kristina into the third set though she was riding the momentum. She came up with a clutch return winner to break and served out the championship comfortably.
