Portuguese tennis player Neuza Silva is still trapped in Beirut, in the sequence of the conflicts which have been happening since wednesday.
"We can't get out of the city, not even by the sea, not by anywhere" said Paulo Lucas, her coach, affirming that "the situation is starting to get a little complicated".
At the place where they are staying, he said that "there weren't any conflicts and the military presence is not even that strong in this area", adding that they have been "with some security, which doesn't mean that until tomorrow the situation is not gonna change".
In relation to a possible escape of the city, he said that they're still waiting for some contacts from the embassy of Cyprus and from Lisbon, but according to him, the better solution would be the evacuation by boat, through Cyprus.
If Lisbon doesn't send a boat for them to get out, he said that in relation to the possible escape by Syria, that it will be by his own risk and that it would be the only solution.
Neuza Silva had predicted to play in the french tournament of Saint Gaudens, which starts this sunday, and that makes part of the preparation for Roland Garros.
"If she manages to get out of the country tomorrow (sunday), it's possible that between tomorrow and Monday she can still play", affirmed the coach.
