1. Goal of this poll:
The aim is to elect 5 TT players out of these 10 candidates who would officially represent the authority in tennis tipping, solve the different TT problems, and take decisions for the game, like rule changes, when it is needed. These five posters should of course represent everyone in the game, be committed to the game, and have time to be around.

2. Voting rules:
The only votes that count in this election come from tennis tipping player (aka a wtaworld poster who has a singles tt ranking or a doubles tt ranking, ideally both). This is for the good of candidates, so they aren't accused of keeping double-accounts, and trying to rig this election.
This is a multiple choice poll but everybody is allowed to give 5 votes maximum or less. If I see more votes coming from one person, I must void all of them. Due to technical reasons, they'll be still displayed, but won't count. You probably must give all your votes (5 or less) at once, no possibility of adding one later (I'm guessing).
This is not an obligation, but please vote for who you think would be best for the game and not just for someone who would ask you to give him/her a vote out of nowhere, and would be your new virtual bff. Try to vote wisely. :)
You have 15 days to vote which is enough imo, the 5 who got the most votes at the end will be our 5 members.

3. Discipline during the election:
You can ask questions to candidates in this thread. You may not get an answer though, but at least a few people would have read it and later on it might be something to work on for members of this TT board.
Any thoughts on lack of election cleanness should be PMed to me, and if I can't handle with it myself, I will forward it to one of the site moderators. Also, if any of candidates feel harassed, sending me a PM and describing a problem would be the best solution.

Frankly that would suck and be quite low, but there's no way to monitor that.
On the paper your votes can't be bought, but if you get vcash to vote for someone how would we know? :shrug:

I sent a pm to all the volunteers and to all the people I thought might be interested (hopefully I didn't forget anyone). 10 of them said they were indeed interested and that was it, I made the poll right after.

I just voted - and I'd like to say that it was a tough choice, since I had a hard time narrowing it down to 5. I'm sure that everyone who makes it will do a great job, and I'd like to thank them all in advance for taking the time - and effort - needed to keep TT running :worship:

I have been here for one year and familiar to the TB rules well.I really like to run an ITF or tournament but I am very busy these days,I will try to attend Berlin ,but not sure Rome.So after France Open when I am free, I will try my best to run a match.

I want to be a member because I'd love to send sevice to all the guys here,many Chinese plays here and some Chinese are poor in English,it is convinient for me comunicate with them.

Yeah, but it seems it's not needed for everyone...

I thought it would be only fair to players that choose me, if they know what's my point of view on this game :)

I asked James to change the poll closing date, one week is enough and the sooner we'll have this tt board the better.
