Serena Williams gives herself a little fist pump after winning a point against her big sister, Venus Williams in their round one match at the Sunfeast Open.

Last week, tennis commentators thought that new comer, Serena Williams, wasn't committed enough to playing tennis when she gave a very weak performence in Gold Coast, loosing to Australia's Samantha Stosur, 6-3, 6-3. But this week, things seemed different, as she took on her big sister, Venus Williams in their round one match at the Sunfeast Open in three sets: 4-6, 7-6(0), 6-2.

"I feel very good about my performence in the match. I still think I have some things that I need to work on but I still won and hopefully I'll be able to correct those things tomorrow. I take on Daniela Hantuchova in the quarterfinals and I'm just hoping to go out there and play some good tennis."

This week has been magical for Daniela Hantuchova. Daniela went into Kolkata wondering if this was her tournament and boy did Daniela prove it was. Daniela as the forth seed recieved a bye, which she spent practicing on the beautiful indoor courts. Daniela even went to see the Williams sisters show down(alittle preemptive scouting). Daniela's second day in India brought about her first match. She would face the vicorious Williams sister, which ended up bieng Serena. Daniela was very enthusiastic. Daniela won this match easily to make the semis, there she would face new comer Dinara Safina. Daniela was not swayed onebit and won 6-3 6-3.Daniela's return of serve was too much for Dinara Safina who played a great tournament. Daniela was into the final and played robot Petrova and easily won
