Fine, have Momo; two lesbians together, it fits.

Just to sort out the moving like a cow issue;

1.) Your figure distinctly resembles a cow more than Steffi's.
2.) There has been one tournament on clay this year. The surface that tests movement the most and, I am told, the surface that cows most detest. Guess who won it? Steffi Graf.

Ok, so case closed on that.

I'm not going to play doubles; I will concentrate on singles so I can destroy Sweater if she can get that far into the draw.

J. Henin Training in Sydney, Still Seeking First Singles Win

...Thats the question in the mind of Belgian Justine Henin, after failing to collect singles wins in either Indian Wells or Miami, Henin came once again painfully close to victory last week on the Gold Coast. Her opponent was none other than doubles partner and good friend Daniela Hantuchova. After trailing early in the match and losing the opening set 3-6, Henin rallied to take the second 7-5. After a tense third set she had arrived at 6-5 with match point, however the match suddenly took a turn for the worse as Daniela put on a dazzling display and reeled off seven straight points in the tiebreak to take the set and the match 6-3 5-7 7-6(0). Needless to say Henin was gutted by her missed opportunity, and was left to rue her missed chances as Dani prgressed through the draw, eventualy falling in the semifinals to eventual champion Amelie Mauresmo.

However the week wasn't entirely bad as Justine teamed up with Dani in the doubles, the pair had made a final just a week earlier and this time they went one better defeating top seeded team Mauresmo/Chakvetadze 7-6 7-6, it was an uplifting end to what had been another dreary week for the troubled belgian.

It is another tournament and another opportunity for Henin though as play begins Tuesday at the Tier I Medibank International in Sydney. First up for Henin is (PC) Li Na. Being a PC player this looks to be Henins best chance to date at a singles win, however these PC players can be very tough as seen last week when many of the PC players bettered their Human Opponents. Despite them only having 160 points they have a deadly strategist for a coach, and Henin will definitely not be taking this one lightly.

A New Partnership

Of Course Henin will once again contest the doubles event, however due to the fact that her regular partner Daniela Hantuchova is playing an event in Kolkata, Henin will instead team up with American Lindsay Davenport. She Hopes to be able to continue her recent success with her new parter.

Davenport Ready to Sizzle in Sydney
http://assets.espn.go.com/photo/2006/0904/ten_davenport_195.jpg
Sydney, Australia
Lindsay Davenport came to Australia preparing to find form and become world #1. Former world #3, Lindsay went into Gold Coast looking to dominate, but was forced to retire in round 1 with a back injury. She is coming into this week more motivated than ever to win the title.
"I didn't do well last week, but I am now healthy and ready to mop the floor with anyone in my way of the title. I am also playing doubles with Justine Henin, which is a good thing since she has won doubles titles."
Lindsay in round 1 takes on Eleni Daniilidou and goes in the heavy favorite, "I expect to win, but it won't be easy, I wanna climb up the ranks again."
Lindsay is currently #9 in the world and is looking to make her way back into the top 5.

You never know what could happen. Chaky has not been playing well at all lately. Vania might be able to take her, and Asha would need a miracle to take Chaky but if that happens, we have Leizel on doubles so there's like a billion to one chance.

J. Jankovic def. (PC) J. Craybas 4-6, 7-6, 6-4 and fights for a semi-final birth at the Medibank International in Syndey, Australia. Jelena's cross-court backhand and net prowess gave her the edge to take out my PC player. Good match!

Lindsay Bored With Mauresmo
http://i.a.cnn.net/si/2005/tennis/specials/australian_open/2005/01/29/davenport.disappointed.ap/t1_davenport_sit_all.jpg

Sydney, Australia
Lindsay Davenport in the Quarterfinals today went down to world #2 Amelie Mauresmo. Amelie stormed through the first winning it 6-3. Set 2, Lindsay was down 5-3 again, but fought hard with her power game to make it 5-5, but was then down 5-6 before taking it to a tie break where Amelie shined.
"I played alright this week, but Amelie was so boring today, she is one of the most boring players to play against. She has no power really, she has spin and speed and mentality. She is just plain boring. I got so tired of today's match that I kinda gave it half my effort. I wanted to win the tournament, but now I will just have to win the doubles with Henin. She has been playing well this week and hopefully we can continue this form into the doubles and win that. I can't wait for my next tourny to do one step better than this week."

Stosur Bundled Out Of Sydney

http://newsimg.bbc.co.uk/media/images/41246000/jpg/_41246442_stosur_300.jpg

Australian world number one Samantha Stosur has been booted out of the Medibank International in Sydney today, going down to German Steffi Graf 6-4 7-5. Stosur was clearly disappointed with her level of play throughout the match and will be hoping to pick up her game for the doubles.

"I played like crap today, there's no doubt about it. I knew what I had to do but I was too lazy to do it and that cost me... from now on I will be working a lot harder every week and make sure I really think about my matches."

"You know, Steffi is a good player, full credit to her for closing out the match in front of my home crowd; that's not easy to do... I hope she makes it all the way this week."

"I've still got doubles to play with Maria. I'm yet to win a doubles match so I will certainly be looking to do that this week."

Double Delight For Henin
http://img297.imageshack.us/img297/8508/r3586005222jq7am6.jpg
J. Henin during her win over Maria Kirilenko

After failing to win a singles match in her first 3 tournaments Belgian Justine Henin has finally broken through firstly defeating PC player Li Na in the Round of 16 before following it up with a solid win over Maria Kirilenko to reach her first semifinal of the season. Henin headed into the first match knowing that she would have to play at a good level to beat Li Na and she was very dominant in the first set taking it 6-3 without too much resistance, however the Chinese fighting spirit was on display in the second set and it was forced to a Tiebreaker where Henin shone to close out the match. Next up was maria Kirilenko and with Justine high in confidence after her very first win she gained an early lead in the first set, however the scores were soon level at 5-5. Henin powered through the next two games to take the opening set 7-5. Henin had another early lead in the second set which was quickly closed down by the young russian and soon henin was down set point at 5-6. She produced some devastating Backhands down the line in order to force the tiebreaker, and just as the day before was too tough for her opponent.

These two matches were very encouraging for Henin's coach, "In the past she has failed to take her matchpoints and has also crumbled in second set tiebreakers to lose the match, but she showed some real toughness out there in these matches and hopefully she can continue her new found form."

Next up for Justine is Estoril champion Steffi Graf, who trounced the Rebound Ace loving Australian Samantha Stosur. If that match is anything to go by Justine is in for a tough challenge, of course nothing is impossible but Henin will not be favourite going to the match despite being more comfortable on the surface.

Henin Through To Final
http://img181.imageshack.us/img181/4926/ef76c9a56addcc7b2863526eq7.jpg
J. Henin during her win over S. Graf in Sydney

Justine Henin has continued her recent run of form defeating last weeks Estoril champion Steffi Graf in straight sets. The match started well for Henin gaining an early break and soon she was up 5-2, Steffi fought hard to break and take the next two games before Henin closed out the set 6-4. The second set was much of the same, Henin again gaining the early break and in no time she was at 5-3 and match point, however a lucky netcord from the German on match point seemed to rattle Henin and it was soon level at 5-5. Justine regained her composure to take the last two games and the match 6-4 7-5, it was a tough match as expected and Henin is overjoyed at making her first final.

An elated Henin Commented after the match:
"its very good for me to have made the final here and especially with all my matches in two sets, its very encouraging for my fututre and for the Australian Open in a few weeks time. Tomorrow is a great opportunity for me playing against such a player, I hope to learn a lot from the experience."

Awaiting the Belgian in the final is Amelie Mauresmo, the undisputed best Rebound Ace player on tour, with a perfect record on the surface. Mauresmo demolished Jelena Jankovic in the semifinals 6-2 6-1 and is in devastating form. Henin will be the huge underdog going into the match and would need a near miracle to pull it out, however Justine is extremely pleased with her week regardless of tomorrows outcome.

Final #2 for Mauresmo

http://newsimg.bbc.co.uk/media/images/42433000/jpg/_42433317_jankovic_getty300.jpg

The 28-year-old Mauresmo beat Jankovic for the second time this year, and reached the final at Sydney, after winning the title last week at Gold Coast. The Frenchwoman won 6-1 6-2 against the Serbian, and will meet Justine Henin of Belgium in the final.

"I am please to be in another final, and I hope I can make it mine again," said the second seed. "I'm thrilled to be in another final and to give myself another opportunity at the grand slam next week. It's a great moment for me. Despite the score, it was really a battle. Jelena played better than in our previous meeting. But I think I was just better in the most important points," she added.

"I think I'll be the favourite for the final, since I've won last week. But Justine will have nothing to lose, and she seems in great form, so I know I will have to be aggressive in the final tomorrow. The body is perfect and the mind is perfect so I will just go out ... and try to enjoy the moment. Next week is the Australian Open, so this week it's an ideal warm-up for me."

It will be the first meeting between the two players.

Kirilenko Happy with Week

http://i30.tinypic.com/ejelqd.jpg
Kirilenko thanking the crowd after her quarterfinal loss

Sydney, Australia - After reaching the quarterfinals at this week’s tier 1 in Sydney, 11th ranked Maria Kirilenko is delighted with her showing on the rebound ace courts. The Russian upset 4th seed Marta Domachowska in round 1 with her excellent net play and cross court forehand damaging the Polish 22 year-old. After her 6-3 7-6 win Kirilenko said, "I was delighted with my performance today, I'm really happy how I used my all-court game to my advantage setting up easy volleys with my ground strokes."

Next up for the Russian was Belgium Justine Henin who downed Chinese Na Li, mirroring Kirilenko's winning margin. The anticipated quarterfinal match took part in the afternoon with many fans staying to watch after crowd favourite Sam Stosur's loss to Steffi Graf. Kirilenko got off to a rocky start, as she trailed by a break at 4-2, but she rallied back to level the score at 4 all. Henin and Kirilenko traded easy holds before Henin's world class backhand down the line kicked in, penetrating the Russian as Henin closed the set out 7-5. With the crowd been treated to some top notch tennis, Kirilenko again started slowly in the second going down a break at 3-0. After a medical timeout, Kirilenko received strapping on her thigh and returned to court producing some spectacular tennis. Being more patient Kirilenko broke Henin twice and fought hard to reel off 4 straight games to lead 4-3. Henin used her backhand to set up points as both girls did well on serve as Kirilenko went up 6-5. Holding a set point at 30-40 Kirilenko was a victim to a lucky net-cord which just fell over to her side, as Henin powered her way to force a tiebreak. Playing the errorless tennis, the Belgium won the tiebreak and the match, receiving praise from her opponent.

"Justine played fantastic tennis today." "Her backhand is amazing and I couldn’t return it today." "I wish her good luck for the rest of the tournament and I reckon she could win it." “Overall I’m really happy with my week, the win over Marta was great and I held a set point against a top player.” Kirilenko will play doubles with home crowd favourite and world number 1 Sam Stosur who lost to Steffi Graf.

Henin Falls Short

J. Henin a Finalist This Week in Sydney

Justine Henin has fallen short in her first final on tour, losing to Fremnchwoman Amelie Mauresmo in straight sets. It had been a great week for Henin claimimg her first Singles match win and following it up with two more to reach the Tier I final. However Mauresmo is the undisputed queen of rebound ace and it really showed in the final. Henin started well holding her serve and had a 3-2 lead however Amelie started to apply more pressure with her net game and awesome touch and rattled of 4 games to take the opening set 6-3. It was more of the same in the second set and pretty soon it was game set championship for Mauresmo 6-3 6-2.

Henin was not too disappointed with her result and commented after the match: "Amelie was simply to good for me today she is really head and shoulders above the rest on this surface, I have a lot of respect for her and her game definitely. I am very pleased to have made the final here expecially at a tier I tournament, it was great to finally get a singles win under my belt. I am really hoping that i don't draw Amelie early at the open, I hope someone else can knoch her out, but definitely she is the favourite, for Hobart and Melbourne."

Henin will still contest the doubles and hopefully she can do well there as well and maybe make another final.

Mauresmo wins Sydney!!

http://www.teamtalk.com/Images/66294.jpg

World number two Amelie Mauresmo won her second tournament of the year on Saturday, beating Justine Henin of Belgium 6-3 6-2 at the Sydney Medibank International. The French, winner of Gold Coast title last week, hit a barrage of winners on her way to beating Justine Henin in the final. She finished the match with 30 winners to Henin's 14. The first match point went begging but Mauresmo converted the second, letting out a shriek of delight on sealing the win.

"This feels amazing. It's so great to win again. That was really my goal and I'm so happy I was able to do it," she said. "I've had tough matches but came through. This is a very emotional moment for me. I knew I needed to play aggressively today and just tried to move into the court as much as possible. I think I did that well," added the French, who's guaranteed to become the new number 1 in the rankings.

Henin said: "Amelie was simply to good for me today she is really head and shoulders above the rest on this surface, I have a lot of respect for her and her game definitely. I am very pleased to have made the final here expecially at a tier I tournament, it was great to finally get a singles win under my belt."

Mauresmo, who did not have to play a single seed during the tournament, has now won 7 matches in a row, and last tasted defeat against Elena Dementieva in Miami 3 weeks ago.

In doubles, Mauresmo and Kuznetsova lost in the final against Davenport and Henin in a close three-setter, 6-7 7-5 7-5. It was the third doubles final in 3 weeks for Mauresmo, who won the first one at Miami, and lost the second one last week at Gold Coast, both with Chakvetadze. In those finals, their opponents were Hantuchova and Henin.
