Confirm doubles parnters for Indian Wells in this thread. For doubles I need 1 set of points for each team. All doubles teams use 200 points!!! Max 8 doubles teams per event. Always first sign-up first to get in regardless of ranking.

Here is how matches will be played
All players attributes will be put into a random list sequencer at random.org. Whatever order the list comes out in is how the set will scored (from top to bottom). Here is an example of a set between Amelie Mauresmo and Mashona Washington.

i asked the same question and GracefulVenus said that he puts them into random.org and the order they come out in is the order he does the score based on your points, so i think each is only used once

Yes, luck does play a factor, but your stragtegy is has about 90% to do with your results. ;) It's all about probability.

INDIAN WELLS, California, April 1 - French Amelie Mauresmo smiled broadly after easing through her first and second round matches at the Pacific Life Open on Tuesday.

She crushed American Venus Williams 6-3 6-4 in the first-round encounter at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden and then won 6-4 6-4 against Nicola Vaidisova in the second round.

"I'm happy the way it went today, it's not an April fool's trick!" a beaming Mauresmo told reporters after defeating her Czech opponent on the Stadium Court to wrap up victory in 78 minutes.

"In both matches I came up with some nice plays at the right moments so I was very pleased with my performance today. I wouldn't play too risky but I got off to a good start and could have taken many more chances, I think. The 28-year-old French said he moved pretty quickly on court. "I was happy with that. No breathing problems, no pains or aches, so everything was fine.

"I haven't played much and I think this is the difficulty," added Mauresmo. "But then again, every first round you play in a big tournament, or any tournament, is always a bit of pressure, especially when it's your first tournament. You just don't feel at ease like you do feel in a second or third round. When you start a tournament and you start it well, you get on a roll. For the second round I was much more relaxed. But two matches in a day was a bit too much I think. Sveta is the Queen of luck for sure!"

Mauresmo was World N°1 and won multiple titles, including Grand Slams, when she played on WPTT, the former Tour before WSC Tour. In the quarterfinals, she'll be playing against American Ashley Harkleroad.

Australian Samantha Stosur has reached the quarterfinals at her first ever event in Indian Wells this morning. The Queenslander defeated Austrian Tamira Paszek 6-1 6-4 and will next face Althea Gibson.

"I felt so good out there today. I really took my chances and played very aggressively. Hopefully I can go out there tomorrow and do much of the same... I would love to reach my first semifinal here."

But then Kuznetsova would end the second set with some power play. But in a third set tie-break it would be a brilliant defensive lob that Svetlana didn't make a play on that would seal the deal.
