Hey everyone! :wavey:
I've decided to make rankings so I can be a bit more accurate with seedings when making tournaments ... Thinking about it, I may have cheated Hesse out of a good Roland Garros run ... Who knows?

Well I've proposed that their will be three levels:
Grand Slams (obvious)
Lvl. 1 (in the more well-known countries like the US, Spain, France, Japan, etc.)
Lvl. 2 (everywhere else :p)

Out of the tournaments so far this is what I would catergorize everything:
Grand Slam - Roland Garros
Lvl. 1 - United States(Orange Bowl) & Japan
Lvl. 2 - Malta, Trinidad, Taiwan

For Grand Slams the points would be
W - 300
F - 200
SF - 100
QF - 50
Rd 1 - 5

For Lvls. 1:
W - 200
F - 100
SF - 50
QF - 25
Rd 1 - 3

For Lvls 2:
W - 100
F - 70
SF - 40
QF - 10
Rd 1 - 1

Does everyone agree with this? Anyone have any suggestions? Well as for now, I'm going to go and compile all of the points from all the tournaments. :)

OK, I did make a big mistake before Roland Garros :help:

The rankings and top seedings should've been this:
1. Amandine Hesse
2. Pamela Montez
3. Kristina Mladenovic
4. Urszula Radwanska
5. Nikola Hofmanova
6. Michelle Larcher de Brito
7. Timea Babos

I got most of the seedings right but Amandine should've been seeded first ... The outcome of the tournament COULD'VE been totally different ... I apologize to Amandine and her coach. It was my mistake. I hope you understand. Now I will do the rankings AFTER Roland Garros.

AFTER ROLAND GARROS
1. Pamela Montez (3 titles) 603 pts
2. Amandine Hesse (3 titles) 510 pts
3. Michelle Larcher de Brito 278 pts
4. Nikola Hofmanova 229 pts
5. Kristina Mladenovic 185 pts
6. Urszula Radwanska 164 pts
7. Timea Babos 155 pts

The rankings are much different now.  Pam ends Amandine's 5 week reign at #1. Michelle and Nikola(!) make huge jumps in the rankings and will be seeded at the next tournament. After poor showing in Roland Garros, Kristina and Urszula both took heavy falls. Urszula almost fell to last in the rankings. :help:

Amandine narrows the space between Pam and herself. She get closer to becoming #1 again! :hearts:

Michelle gets closer to Pam and Amandine.
Good on Urszula moving back one spot up after a good tournament. :)
Kristina  Bad draws and unlucky as of late.

Everyone else stays the same. :)

Not too many changes. :) Biggest jump in the ranking was Bojana Jovanovski who went to #8 after a finale run in Fiji. :yeah: She jumps ahead of Urszula and Kristina(who has been one of the most consistent performers ). Timea also moves up a spot to #3 in the world and has broken the threshold that was the Top 3 with Michelle dropping a spot despite a run to the semis. :awww: Next mission for Timea is Top 2. We also have ANOTHER new player. :bigclap: Hopefully Aleksandra will do well and stay committed. :p ;)

14) Aleksandra Krunic 2
15) Laura Robson 0

No changes really here. Amandine extends her lead over Pam Montez which is now at 200+. The only thing Amandine is missing at this point is a Grand Slam. :p Timea is also inching closer and closer to the #2 spot. :) Kristina is also inching back into the Top 5 as Nikola's success has stalled a bit at the moment. Also Laura Robson is our newest addition to our rankings. :D We are so close to having 16 players. :hearts:

13) Julia Glushko 33
14) Laura Robson 25
15) Aleksandra Krunic 5

There were some interesting changes after the tournament in Germany. :) Michelle regains the #3 spot from Timea after winning the tournament. :D And look how close #2-4 are. Before #1-2 had seperated themselves from the back. It will only be time before we see a new #2 player unless Pam could improve her results. :) Kristina has tied it up with Bojana for the #8 spot and Urszula is creeping closely behind at #10. Laura starts her career at #14 after a strong debut. :D The next coming weeks will be interesting, and after the US Open we could have a new #1 player, a spot that Amandine has held for so long. :worship:

Just so everyone knows, 4th place finishers received 25 pts. 3rd place finishers received 50 pts. Semifinalists received 100 pts. The finalist received 200 pts and winner 300 pts.
------
With winning the SEC, Nikola has jumped from #5 to #2 in the world. :worship: It's been awhile since the Hesse-Montez threshold of #1 & #2 has been broken up ... A strong tournament for Michelle leaves her at #4 while missing the SEC cost Timi a big number of points dropping her down to #5. Strong showing for Nastya leaps her ahead of Kristina to #6. Everyone else stayed the same. ;)

Thanks guys for an amazing year of ATT Juniors. I really enjoyed running it. Hope to see you all and more next year! :worship: Suggestions and re-sign up thread will be later today. :)
