Tzar Mar 9th, 2008, 05:33 PM Radwanska/Krajicek is a great couple :) Jojo_ Mar 9th, 2008, 05:58 PM At Paris, I have seen Eva Hrdinova, and I think that she will become a great double player Ellery Mar 9th, 2008, 08:34 PM What do you mean exactly by young players? :p I think Shuai could become a pretty awesome doubles player if only she could lob :o Elwin Mar 9th, 2008, 09:00 PM What do you mean exactly by young players? :p I think Shuai could become a pretty awesome doubles player if only she could lob :o players that are younger then 21 ;) ● Vanilla ● Mar 10th, 2008, 12:14 AM Johanna Larsson ? I know she is more of a power-player, but she has been winning and contesting finals at ITF's this year. Flushing. Mar 10th, 2008, 03:01 AM Ana Ivanovic as well as could be great doubles players if they want to (actually Maria has already won three titles) :) stefi62 Mar 10th, 2008, 09:24 AM Mariya Koryttseva Shengnan Sun ^bibi^ Mar 10th, 2008, 09:30 AM Wozniacki :p Dexter Mar 10th, 2008, 09:34 AM Ana Ivanovic as well as could be great doubles players if they want to (actually Maria has already won three titles) :)I'm sorry, but no. Ana can have decent results in doubles, but that's only where she bosses the match and in doubles it's all about teamwork. I'm glad she stopped playing. ViennaCalling Mar 10th, 2008, 10:22 AM Of the Austrians .... maybe Nikola Hofmanova, she has a decent serve and - as far as i know - good volley skills. Tamira won´t be a good doubles player  :help: No serve and no volley :rolls:  Medina Mar 10th, 2008, 10:27 AM no doubt Vania King stefi62 Mar 10th, 2008, 10:44 AM Though she already is among the best doubles players, I think YJ Chan can become a very good specialist, among the best of all times. Aryman3 Mar 10th, 2008, 11:23 AM Radwamska's duo should be really impressive. You'll probably see them together in Beijing kittyking Mar 10th, 2008, 11:40 AM Well Marina Erakovic/Misa Krajicek were a great doubles team in doubles. Marina's far more interested in concentrating singles though.... kittyking Mar 10th, 2008, 11:42 AM Johanna Larsson ? I know she is more of a power-player, but she has been winning and contesting finals at ITF's this year. Power-players tend to focus on singles. Doubles is more suited for players who have great serves and/or great at the net. stefi62 Mar 10th, 2008, 12:48 PM Power-players tend to focus on singles. Doubles is more suited for players who have great serves and/or great at the net. I think power players that know their weakest point is going to the net try to play more doubles to improve in that field. Maybe they're not among the best, but at least they try to add more thing to their game. Look at Mary Pierce for instance, she improved a lot in her net approach with doubles. DutchieGirl Mar 12th, 2008, 11:01 AM Radwanska/Krajicek is a great couple :) I think Szavay/Krajicek was better. Too bad they don't play together anymore. |
