Why is it played in a hall which doesn't have heating?
Croatian players said that it's too cold in there! That's very strange!
Will this be televised anywhere?
Maybe somewhere on the internet hopefully!

among the japanese girls, anyone could play singles, i guess.
rika just won the 50k tournament, ayumi has a great potential, akiko is always strong at the fed... aiko is tough.
hope this new dome is filled with lots of fans!

Come on Jelena! Fight!
She debuted in Fed cup 10 years ago also against Japan!

ex hopman
Feb 2nd, 2008, 09:05 AM
Akiko had a tough first set against Ozegovic. Ozegovic started good! Akiko took a while to get used to her balls... finally she could manage her! :D

Aiko seems to play ok overall. Kostanic slowed her down a bit during the second... that helped Aiko.
Let's see how it goes the 3rd!!

tennismaster8820

Yeah, that's what I expect too!
Also this win could give more confidance to Jelena and she is always a threat because of her unusual style of play!
