just got back from Bolton , pretty eventful day

and poor Sabine Klaschke, she spent all day watching the matches as they went on for hours on the court she was gonna get onto.<br /> She's very nice , had a good chat to her , she kept coming back every now and then and when she did the score on court went against her and mean waiting longer.

Hannah v Vanessa was 2nd match and went 3 long sets<br /> then Lucie v Dragana went on for 2 and a half hours, it was still 4-3 to Lucie when i left

Maria G lost a 4-1 lead in 1st set to Els and went down <img src="frown.gif" border="0">

Anne K broke for 5-3 and served out , <br />1st pt of final game . umpire called let as another ball came from another court ,

Anne double faulted and stuck two's at the umpire , lucky he didn't see it , but I was next to the referee and I think she might have

She won on her 3rd MP

<br /> Elena B lost a 3-1 lead , to 4-4 broke for 6-5 and served out, 2nd set broke 1-0 and lost lead to 3-3 but broke again and served out 6-3

Angelika Bachmann played too consistently for Eva , who got a few bad calls , she prostested when the ball was clearly out and staged a sitdown and wanted referee to come out ( took about 10 mins) , that was just before TB and her head wasnt right for that and she won 1pt

Selima was very good for a set and a half , led 6-1 4-1 , lost her way but broke in final game to win in two

Vanessa Henke bt Hannah , after blowing 3 MPs in 2nd set 3-5 up , lost TB but broke early in 3rd to win .<br /> Vanessa when she lost 2nd set , nearly connected with linejudge when she cracked a ball in anger and just missed his head.<br />

Patty Van Acker played pretty good in 1st set and won it 6-4 , was 0-3 down in 2nd broke back and went on to break in 11th game.

Lucie Ahl ... she blew a 4-1 lead , then blew 4 set pts at 6-2 in TB , another at 7-6 , lost 1st set , <br />2nd set she served for it 6-5 after coming back for 2-4 , won that after saving MP.

came back from break down in final set 1-3 to win 6-4

Nathalie Vierin was having plenty of tantrums on court , and she also staged a sit down with same umpire on same court , also requested referee.

Alberta Brianti v Tatarkova was a rare match of two single handed BH's, Elena broke in 9th game and served out

I left with Elsa Morel leading Hopmans 4-2 , Elsa playing some delightful Serve + volley tennis on every pt.

Els was moving from watching Patty to Amanda between change of ends
