Germany are Roland Garros SemiFinalists and they were expected to continue that run here but Patty player superbly well to post this victory. She goes to the main draw now and will face the number 1 seed, Klara Zakapalova.

Defenetly one of the better matches Sofia has played on tour and one of the shakier the Slovaks have played. Nice close match here but it is Arvidsson who qualifies and Rybarikova will have to wait and hope for a Main Draw opening.

Klara was pushed all the way there but played like a champion today to get the win. Patty will be dissapointed but shouldnt be too dissapointed with herself. With a few more wins and matches like this she will be flying up the ranks in no time.

Lizaan was pushed today but her clay talent showed and she took the victory. All credit to Sofia though for making this three sets.

Despite being very consitent, Marta hasnt always had the best results but its play and points like these that will turn that around. Eka played very well put Marta was just that little to good and very impressive today.

Elena worked out the Argentines gameplan very well today and she played such a great match today - Great Britains best on clay to book a well deserved place in the Semi Finals.

The South Africans enjoy another straight forward clay win. The Czechs are still yet to win a tournament and it looks like they will have to turn their attention to another surface if the are going to win one know.
