If you did not restrict us with the rule on our surface preferences,I'm sure I'm gonna take my chances(by putting RA as my first preference.;)) But then I'm also worried on my clay season.I had no aces at all on the surface except for a couple of events where I were POTW with an extra ace.Yet I did my best on clay among all surfaces.:o

Perhaps I'll do something different if I fail to defend those points.:devil:

Australia's Alicia Molik has advanced through to the second round of the ASB Classic in Auckland, following a straight forward 6/1 6/3 win over Russian Maria Sharapova. She will next face top ten player Anastasia Msykina.

"You know, I felt really good out there today. I felt like I was timing the ball really well and really playing aggressively... Hopefully this can continue... I defidently expect myself to beat Myskina on this surface; but we'll see what happens.

I'm on my way home from ohio to georgia....I still have another 4 hrs to go and I'm on a blackberry. Tammys coach is here as well cause he's my bro lol. Don't penali2 usd and give us walkovers....and send indoor points for indoor as well as anyone that plays wfst AND JOIN the game as well

Australian number one Alicia Molik has cruised past world number seven Anastasia Myskina in Auckland. The 6/3 6/3 match lasted just over an hour as Molik moved through to the quarterfinals.

"You know, I felt so great out there today... I really felt like I was dictating play and there wasn't a whole lot Nastya could do... Obviously I have a lot of points to defend at the Aussie Open but I have almost none to defend until then, so its jsut a matter of me continuing with this great form and having fun!"

Molik next faces rebound ace specialist Nicole Vaidisova.

"Nic is a tough girl and she loves this surface - so its going to be really tough out there tomorrow. Hopefully I can get off to a good start and make it to the semis."

Really tight match for the first two sets, Tammy saved a match point late on in the second, before running away with it in the 3rd, I'm really impressed with Iveta's new points, except her 3rd set, which must be changed ;)

Australia's Alicia Molik has taken another step towards her first ATC title with a three set victory of Czech Nicole Vaidisova to advance through to the semifinals. The 6/4 5/7 6/4 victory lasted two hours and fourteen minutes and went late in the Auckland evening.

Molik fought back from 0/4 down in both the first and third set to win the match.

"It was so tough out there, I really had to dig deep to get those two sets... Nic played a great game today, I was maybe a little lucky on some of the key moments... To win my first title here would be great, I'm enjoying this week so much."

Molik next faces Wimbledon champion Tamirine Tanasugarn.

"I know we played at Wimbledon last year and she beat me in a close match, so it will be tough for sure... However, I know I feel a lot more comfortable on this surface than she does, so hopefully I can come out the winner this time."

Great match and even though Tammy is the seed, this was quite an upset, every game was so close and I can't really fault Alicia, Tammy saved some of her best play until the end, and Alicia just couldn't keep up in the breakers.
