Anna Brazhnikova
16 year old Anna Brazhnikova is looking to spark her career off in Uzbekistan this week, Anna's mother is travelling with her as she is from Uzbekistan. Brazhnikova is looking to show the world her huge potential and prove she is a threat on the WTT tour.
justine schnyder Nov 28th, 2007, 02:02 PM Ans she's against my team :)

Good win from Anne. She looks determind to follow up Ballys success and she played a great match today. Very nicely done.
Patch Nov 28th, 2007, 06:23 PM [3] JPN Ayumi Morita def. SUI Martina Hingis 6-4 0-6 6-1
http://www.itftennis.com/shared/medialibrary/image/gallery/IO_23049_gallery.JPG
Good match from Ayumi but Martina deserved this match, her points were impressive and it came down to luck in the end which was not on her side. However Morita played well and looked strong to progress.
Patch Nov 28th, 2007, 06:24 PM [4] SWE Anna Brazhnikova def. CRO Jelena Pandzic 6-2 7-6(1)

Croatias points were very impressive today and she was unlucky too. Anna was on form today and played different to how Sweden have played before but I hope the Croats take some confidence to Roland Garros becuase with points like that they could be a threat.
Patch Nov 28th, 2007, 06:24 PM SVK Dominika Cibulkova vs. [2] NED Michaella Krajicek - Match Suspended

● Vanilla ● Nov 29th, 2007, 07:17 PM Doubles SF
Daniela Hantuchova/Martina Sucha (SVK) Bt (1) Johanna Larsson/Sofia Arvidsson (SWE) 3-6 6-1 7-5
http://img132.imageshack.us/img132/834/436018680491c74704dih3.jpg
Daniela and Martina started very poorly and were quickly down 4-1, they started to get it together and raced back to 3-4. Arvidsson and Larsson found a new level and were quickly the winners of the first set. In sets 2 and 3, Sucha started to hit more freely from the baseline and Hantuchova kept up her tidy volleys. The final set was very nervy but Hantuchova's double expieience brought her team through.
(2) Katie O'Brien/Elena Baltacha (GBR) Bt Akiko Nakumara/Rika Fujiwara (JPN) 3-6 6-2 6-3
http://img137.imageshack.us/img137/9113/katieobrienwed224ag2.jpg
Katie and Elena were quickly up to a 3-0 lead in the opening set before some inspiring tennis from the Japanese brought them back to 3-3. The British pairing lost concentration and the 1st set, from then on they looked dominating huge serving from O'Brien and tidy shots from Baltacha eased past the frustated Japanese.
