Venus response to Sania 'Incident'

http://img117.imageshack.us/my.php?image=1071727ia9.jpg

"Seriously, you think that was me :haha::haha::haha: I was at a Primary School helping children brush up on their Tennis skills, to be just like me and this is what I get. Sania better concentrate on her tennis, shes still in the tournament and shes heading from a *cough*doubles bagle* if she dosnt stop getting 'distracted'"

Liar Liar Pants on Fire

In a recent statement made by American Venus Williams, she is trying to deny the fact that she threw a tennis ball at Sania Mirza while she was not looking and trying to concentrate on practicing to beat the crap out of Elena Baltacha. She claims she was trying to teach children how to play tennis like her.

"Well, I feel sorry for the children. If they play like Venus then they'll loose in round ones left and right. She should just send them over to watch me play and see how a real champion plays tennis. But anywho, I must get back to training, not that I need it or anything but I'm training to take on Elena Dementieva, you know the better Elena, on in the semis. I don't really need to train that hard to be this diet-Elena, Elena Baltacha."

BALTACHA SAW MIRZA HIT VENUS WITH TENNIS BALL

Baltacha was shocked to see Sania Mirza purposely smack a ball at Venus William's backside. Baltacha told me, " I'm seriously scared of Mirza now, she has a violent temper and she should give me a walkover tomorrow and go to anger management, i think Venus should go to the Police or something, it was really upsetting to watch,"

Baltacha took a break and cried her eyes out.

"I just have to go out there tomorrow and thrash her for Venus, me and Venus are now best friends and Mirza will have to go through both of us if she wants to win this week."

Baltacha stormed off and hit a 120MPH serve

To Baltacha

I am almost rather hurt that Baltacha told the story of my beatings from other players. I didnt want to use exuses for my occasional losses but when you have a player on the other side of the net who is going to beat you up* if you take a game its difficult. Lets hope from now on this no longer happens a tennis is once again the beautiful game it should be

BALTACHA BEATS FEDERER IN WARM-UP

Elena Baltacha played the best tennis of her life and won 6-0 6-1 against Roger Federer, Federer came off shell-shocked and said that Baltacha was the best person he has ever played against and also said that he wants Baltacha to thrash Sania and win the French Open.

Baltacha came off the court laughing and smiling, " It was so much fun to play against the best player in the world, and it was the fun for him to play against the best player in the universe,"

" Have a good nights sleep Sania, you're going to need it, when i'm finished with you, you won't be able to compete until the US Open,"

Bye for now, Sania be afraid, very afraid

Slander! Lies! Mud Slinging!

It seems as if Article Whore wannabe Venus Williams has taken a new approach to her mind games with Sania Mirza and has now brought her coach into the picture and told him that he should pick between being a grand slam champion or an article whore champ? Coach Spice had this to say about the situation.

"Well, I'm Sania's coach, I don't have complete control over her. She has tremendous potential to win this tournament and I don't think that a couple of articles are going to harm her. I thank Venus for her concern and wish her the best of luck with her clothing store. But I think as long as it doesn't effect her tennis, I'll continue to let Sania be in articles if that's what she wants."

In other news, Diet-Elena, Elena Baltacha has tried to say that Sania Mirza in fact attacked Venus Williams. Baltacha was not even there for the incident and is now trying to call for a walkover win because she knows in her heart she can't beat Sania even if Sania was tied up. She said that Mirza needs to take anger management classes when it seems she just needs to go to AA meetings for her alcohol abuse because she's seeing things that she was not at the place to see.

"Poor Diet-Elena, she's hit rock bottom. Seeing things, slander, lies, and mud slinging. I wish her the best at her AA meetings and hope she can get over the alcohol. If she had a little control she'd probably never gotten into the alcohol abuse in the first place and she'd maybe have reached a semi-final in her career. But I wish her the best still, even though she tries to bring down my name constantly. I'm such a nice person, I know."

MIRZA IS CAUGHT SMOKING ON COURT

In shocking news, it has been confirmed that Sania Mirza was caught smoking on court, we don't know what she was smoking, but i'm guessing pot or marajuana. Mirza has not responded to these claims but everyone on tour knows this is true. Luckily enough Elena Baltacha was on the scene.

"I couldn't believe my eyes, she just hit a forehand in the net (no surprise there) and then she put her hand down her top and brought out a cigarette, i was shocked to my very core and i don't know whether i can go on the court with her tomorrow, but i think i'll fight through and beat her for the tour, because i'm 100 times more popular than Sania, but don't worry Sania you might win a match next week,"

Elena Baltacha was not paid for this interview, but she was offered alcohol and turned it down because she has never drunk in her life

Confessions of the World's Sweetheart

Recently, in a drunk rage, Elena Baltacha stormed into Sania's personal playing grounds and caught the young player smoking something. Baltacha claimed it either to be pot or marijuana, if she would stop drinking so much she would have the smarts to realize pot and marijuana are the same thing. Sania Mirza who was confronted about his by reports has made a confession statement:

"Yes I was smoking, but it was not pot, or any other illegal substance. I was smoked hookah which is smoked very often in Arab countries. It is basically flavored tabacco. It is not illegal to smoke so I think that drunken idiot Elena Balatcha should get off my back and she's lucky that the French police are freaking idiots and said I can't press charges against her for tresspassing! Also, Elena tries to claim that she is loved by everyone. PA-LEASE! Nobody is ever in her box. That's why she's lucky she'll be going against me, cause the arena will be sold out for all my adoring fans who came from all over the world to watch me kick her saggy ass. BALTACHA IS TIRED AND IS GOING TO BED

I thought it was very important that everyone knew that Elena Baltacha is very tired and is heading for bed to keep fresh for her thrashing of Sania Mirza. Baltacha expects Mirza to stay up and smoke pot all night.

Baltacha is expected to set her alarm clock then brush her teeth and put on her Pjamas. We don't the exact time at which this will happen but it is expected to be quite soon.

Venus Williams has pleaded to be in Elena Baltacha's box tomorrow and after hours of begging to get away from Sania 'Stoner' Mirza, Baltacha finally gave in and is allowing Venus to sit in her box along with every other player on tour. BALTACHA DEMOLISHED BY MIGHTY MIRZA

Elena Baltacha was walloped off the court today and Mirza showed why she is one of the top players in the world. Baltacha had no chance today and it looks like Mirza has become the favourite to win the title. I asked Baltacha about her gameplan and what happened against Mirza today.

"It was really embarrasing today, i never got going and i didn't deserve to win. Even though Sania kicked me on every change over and made me smoke one of her cigarettes, it all makes sense why she wins now. It doesn't matter to me though because my favourite surface is coming up and we'll be in my home country and i'm great on grass."

"Watch out Mirza, the next time i play you, i will win and will not let you bully me on court, you might be the queen bitch at the moment but you've seen nothing yet sweetie. I'm the biggest bitch you'll ever meet and you're going to find out why"

BREAKING NEWS- BALTACHA HAS BEEN KIDNAPPED

Welcome to norts news, i've got the biggest breaking news this century. Elena Baltacha has been kidnapped from her hotel in Central Paris. The kidnapping was reported by her coach Jo Durie and her best friend Venus Williams. Baltacha has been missing for 38 hours, which means it was someone who was pretending to be Elena Baltacha who played Sania Mirza, which explains why she lost so easily.

So far no suspects have been named but all fingers are pointing Sania 'Stoner' Mirza. She has been bullying Baltacha for weeks and has told her to go on a diet and has forced her into AA meetings even though she has never drunk alcohol. Baltacha's family is said to be devastated and wants Sania Mirza to tell us where she is hidden.

We'll report any developments as they come in

Statement from Sania

This will be the Indian sensations last statement with reguards to Britains Elena Baltacha.

"I'm done with you. You lost, you have no buisness staying here. So why don't you go and train for Wimbledon. The fact that she's reported missing doesn't suprise me one bit. She's probably in hidding after talking all that smack then getting handed one of the biggest defeats in tour history. Only winning four games is an embarrassment. And hun there's a huge difference in being the biggest bitch and the fattest bitch. And you by far are the fattest bitch I've ever met."

Sania Obliterates Baltacha

http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b241/FlamingoSpice/sansan.jpg
(4)Sania Mirza reacts after defeating Elena Baltacha in straight sets and became the first woman to advance to the semi-finals of the French Open.

In her unique fashion, Sania Mirza, the fourth-seeded player of the French Open, literally demolished any hopes of Elena Baltacha reaching the semi-finals. Mirza needed only 52 minutes to take out Britain's star player, leaving her with one of the worst loss records in tour history. Sania defeated Elena in straight sets; 6-4, 6-0, showing once again that the more the tournament goes on, the more dominate she becomes.

"Elena played a great first set. She was very ontop of every shot I tried to make. She has a great ground game and is very powerful at the net. I came to the net a lot but she could hit the ball right past me and it made it very hard to get a break point. I had squandered a couple so when I got the break for a 5-4 lead, I knew I had to do something with my serve. Winning the first set gave me the confidence to start taking more risks with my shots and that definently helped me in the second set."

After a 32 minute first set, Mirza only needed 20 more minutes on court to take Baltacha down. She ended the match with 18 winners to 7 unforced errors. She had 3 aces and 0 double faults. Elena Baltacha's results weren't so satisfying. She finished the match with 10 winners to 17 unforced errors, she had 2 aces to 2 double faults.

"I think my numbers were great for this match. With each round I'm playing better and better and that's made a huge difference."

Indeed she has been playing better and better. In her round one match against Julia Vakulenko, she lost 11 games. In her second round match against Jie Zheng, she lost 5 games. And in her recent quarterfinal match against Elena Baltacha, she lost only 4 games. Who knows, maybe next round she can do less than 4 games?

"I'm going to take some time to rest. She played a great match and she has nothing to be ashamed of. I think the better player won today and who knows which one of us will win next time. Alls I know is that next time she wont give me such an easy time. But I'm not going to be looking that far into the future. I have to focus on the present, and right now, I'm either looking at facing Elena Dementieva or Tathiana Garbin and whichever one I face, I plan on sending them home."

"I'm devastated by this, she's the best person and tennis player i know. One day, she will win a grand slam and be number 1 in the world. Whoever has got her, please let her go, we all know that you're just jealous of her tennis skills,"

It has been confirmed that Sania 'Stoner' Mirza has been named a formal suspect and apparently has been too drugged up to remember what she's been doing for the last two days, Every competitor at Roland Garros believes that Sania Mirza should be disqualified from the event and allow Baltacha out of captivity to compete in the semi-finals.

Also, we have found out that it was not Baltacha who played against Mirza in the quarter-finals, it was a french tennis fan, who got plastic surgery to look like Baltacha and let Sania 'Stoner' Mirza win the match.

If anyone has any news or has seen Baltacha in the last few days, let the police know

NORTS11 SEMI-FINAL PREDICTIONS

Elena Dementieva vs Sania Mirza

I really hope this match doesn't go ahead because Mirza has kidnapped Baltacha, but if it does i really hope Dementieva wins, she is a very good player and has a great tactical mind. Also, Mirza is a brilliant player and has one of the best tactical minds in the world. With her extra points, she has to be made the favourite for the tournament.

PREDICTION- Dementieva to win 7-5 2-6 7-5

Jelena Jankovic vs Martina Hingis

Hats off to both these players, they have performed incredibly this week and one of these 2 has a brilliant chance of winning the French Open. I think Hingis has got very lucky with her draw, but Jankovic has had a tough route through. As Jankovic is Baltacha's best friend on tour, she might be emotional, but i believe in her

PREDICTION- Jankovic to win 2-6 6-4 6-4

Rematch for Revenge

http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b241/FlamingoSpice/group.jpg
Tennis titans, Elena Dementieva and Sania Mirza pose for a picture together outside of a player's party. The two will battle it out for a spot in the finals of the French Open.

Earlier today, top-seeded Elena Dementieva joined fourth-seeded Sania Mirza in the semi-finals in the top half of the draw, giving Mirza a rematch from their second round match in Melbourne at the Australian Open in which Dementieva easily knocked out Mirza who was making her Pro Tour debut.

Since that defeat, a lot has changed in the lives of both players, Dementieva stayed strong and won another title in Tokyo but with the start of the clay season, she lost a lot of flare. Sania on the other hand, has kicked up her game and reached the finals of Antwerp and Miami. When the clay season started she scrambled at first, but when she got going she never looked back, winning a teir 1 title in Rome and now is in her first semi-final of a grand slam tournament, with a seven match win streak.

"Tomorrows match is the most important one of the season for me so far. I have a chance to reach the finals of a grand slam, but the only person standing in my way is the best player on tour. It's going to be the biggest test of my career, if I meant to win this title I think I'll beat Elena, but if I loose to her, then I'll just have to start training for the next surface and hope I can do well at that grand slam."

The two women haven't met since their second round match in Melbourne which should make this the most intense match of the tournament. Elena has had three straight triple set matches which seems to be wearing on her health. Sania on the other hand, had one triple set match in round one and her last two matches, she's been able to demolish her opponents in straight sets without dropping more than five games in each match.

"Melbourne really isn't in my head that much but a little revenge would be sweet. She's the top player in the world and of course I want to beat her, it's nothing personal. It's just that she's the best and I want to be the best, so I have to beat the best to be the best. Tomorrow, it's all or nothing for me on the court. This match is a career changing oppertunity, and I'm going to take it."

STATEMENT FROM BALTACHA'S LAWYERS

"Hello everyone, we are holding this conference today to discuss the situation regarding Elena Baltacha's disappearance. Elena has not been seen in 48 hours and this is a very worry time for all her family and friends. The ProTour are in mourning at the moment as the most popular player in the tour's history has gone missing. Most people from the tour wants the French Open to be cancelled in respect for Elena, but Elena would not want this and would like the competition to continue. Regarding yesterday's match against Sania Mirza, we can confirm that Elena Baltacha did not compete in the match and some french tennis fan took her place, who looked remarkably like Baltacha, there is a conspiracy that the tennis fan had plastic surgery to look like Elena, but we're still investigating this claim.
At the moment Sania Mirza is being questioned but we're making very little sense out of her, because she is stoned and looks terrible. When we have further information, we will let you know."

GOOD LUCK SEMI-FINALISTS

Sania Mirza, Elena Dementieva, Jelena Jankovic and Martina Hingis all reached the semi-finals of the French Open with some very impressive wins. Sania and Martina only lost 4 games each, whilst Elena and Jelena overcame very tough opponents in 3 sets.

All i can say is that these 4 players have performed brilliantly this week and deserve to be here. Any one of them could win and i hope that the semis and the final are classics. The 1st semi-final is Elena Dementieva vs Sania Mirza, both these players are in incredible form and it could go either way, Sania has yet to drop a set and seems invincible this week but if anyone can stop her, it will be Elena she is the world number 1 and performs consistently well at all tournament. I wish both of them the best of luck.

The 2nd semi-final is Jelena Jankovic vs Martina Hingis and they've both battled well to get here. Jelena beat the on-form player at the moment Nikola Hofmanova in the quarter-finals and should be supremely confident for today's match. Martina has had a great draw and has taken full advantage of it, this is her best tournament ever and this one could go down to the wire.

Whoever makes the final will fully deserve it and i feel that both semi-finals are too hard to call. Good luck guys

Venus' predictions

Semi Finals

Elena Dementieva vs. Sania Mirza

I am angry because this should be the final. The tour director should have made sure these two where in seperate halfs so the best two players got to the final. Cant wait for this match!! I cant predict its to difficult all I will say is the winner will be Roland Garros champion 2007

Jelena Jankovic vs. Martina Hingis

I will predict this one - Both played a great QF but a think Jankovic can be a top 3 player one day. Martina is very good but I think Jelena will edge it.

Jelena 7-5 3-6 7-5

Sania Stunned

India's own Sania Mirza was stunned her in semi-final match against Elena Dementieva who won in straight sets; 6-4, 6-4. This win shocked audience members everywhere causing them to leave the stadium and have the lowest audience member rate at a grand slam final ever.

"I don't even want to talk about it. She won, whatever. She lost in the finals. Which pisses me off because I know I could've won the title. But still, I lost to Elena so I didn't deserve the chance to be in the finals."

With this semi-final appearance, Mirza will move up in rankings to either number 2 or 3 in the world, a new high for the Indian star. After Fed Cup play, Mirza says that she is still aiming for a grand slam title, and winning Wimbledon is just what she would love to do.

"There's still Wimbledon and the U.S Open, so what if I didn't win the French Open, I don't like clay anyways."

The Swiss Miss herself, Martina Hingis, the ultimite underdog who was never picked to win her matches has gone through and taken down the world's top players to capture her first grand slam title. She has a huge chance to crash into the world's top 10 with her win here. Without a doubt this tournament was the best tournament of the year. WELL DONE MARTINA HINGIS

The French Open has come to an end and the winner was the shock of the season so far. Martina Hingis beat top seed Elena Dementieva after they both beat Jankovic and Mirza respectively.

Elena Baltacha was found safe and well, she was kidnapped by her stalker and was missing for 72 hours. She is obviously shocked and will spend the night in hospital to make sure she's ok. Baltacha would like to apologize to Sania Mirza after she was wrongly accused of the kidnapping. Baltacha hopes her and Mirza can be friends and be hitting partners in the future.

Swiss miss Martina will shoot up the rankings when they are released. Jankovic will improve ranking and Mirza may improve slightly. Dementieva will maintain her number 1 ranking and will build a massive point lead over Serena Williams.
Also with encouraging performances are Margalita Chaknashvili and Elena Baltacha, after they both reached the quarter-finals and both should have a sizeable ranking jump.

Next up for players is the Fed Cup, it should be a great event but some of the players are not competing including Baltacha, which she is pretty disappointing about. "I love the tour and the Fed cup is one of the biggest events and not being able to compete is upsetting especially as people ranked below me are competing."

It's that special time of the year when countries gather together to face off in one of the most competitive tournaments of the year. Yes, we're talking about the Fed Cup. The ultimite tournament where countries can beat other countries to get bragging rights. This year the top 8 country teams will be going at it. Team captains have been choosen by their rankings and if certain players do not committ to the tournament, they will be withdrawn automatically and alternates will be taking their place. With all the excitement of the French Open, the energy of players will surely carry over to the Fed Cup to make it one hell of a tournament!

PARIS WAVES GOODBYE TO ANOTHER FRENCH OPEN

After another amazing French Open, Paris will wave goodbye to Grand Slam tennis for another year. This year has been the best by far in my opinion, so many shocks, a lot of controversy and most of all a good laugh. There's been more accusations flying about than on Jerry Springer. Elena Baltacha and Sania Mirza were at the middle of the biggest bitch fight in ProTour history and after slagging each other off again and again, they've stop the arguing and will appear on the same team as each other in the Fed Cup along with French Open Winner Martina Hingis.

This means that the Antartica team will consist of a french open quarter-finalist, semi-finalist and winner. But shockingly on-form Baltacha has been left but will be number 1 alternate. Antatica will be seeded 3 and have a good chance of winning the Fed Cup.

BALTACHA OUT OF HOSPITAL

Elena Baltacha walked out of hospital today after recovering from her kidnapping. A crazy stalker of Baltacha drove the taxi that was suppose to take her back to her hotel but he took her to his appartment, where she was kept hostage for 3 days.

Baltacha is said to be mentally fragile and has decided not to talk to us here at norts news. She will also sit out the Fed Cup this week due to the trauma. All tour member have sent their condolances and best wishes to Elena, and she is very grateful to the players.

We're hoping that Baltacha will talk to us tomorrow. But for now Goodbye

Fed Cup Trouble Already?

With the Fed Cup of the verge of beginning within the next couple of days, players and coaches will need to make sure they committed to the Fed Cup or else they will be withdrawn! Teams, seeds and the draw have already been made so now it's up to the players to make sure they play in the tournament.

Countries to watch out for, certainly the top countries to watch out for will be Russia because they have the top player in the world, Elena Dementieva as their team captain, and Anartica as they have Sania Mirza as their team captain and they have French Open Champion Martina Hingis playing for their team as well. It is rumored that Hingis could be playing in more than one match for Fed Cup due to her brilliant performence at Roland Garros.

More updates to come later...

Martina Hingis def. (1)Elena Dementieva 7-5,0-6,6-1

'Who would have thought this??? I know the whole of the tennis world will be shocked but I believed in myself and am a big time player. Elena is a very good player and pushed me really hard, she isnt the world number 1 for nothing but I dont care about small events, I care about the majors, I wasnt around in Melbourne, because if I had been I would have challenged for the title. Now come Wimbledon, people will realise I can win another slam. I cant wait until SW19 rolls around.'
