Sofia Arvidsson finds herself in a good position going into tommorow's final 2 matches, after convincing wins over Marta Domachowska and Anna-Lena Groenefeld Sofia is full of confidence. However Sofia cannot hide the fact that her final two matches will be tough, Arvidsson says 'I have to give everything to get two wins, one win simply isnt good enough. Inside I have a burning desire to win, using my expireience I hope to suceed'.
Her win over Domachowska saw her dominate some hard-hitting baseline rallies using her flat backhand to move the fighting Polish player around the court, where as in her match against Anna-Lena Groenefeld Sofia's serve and forehand saw her take most of the points.
And as for looking ahead, When asked what her preparations will be before tommorow Sofia commented 'Same old routine, when im winning it feels good to get ready the same every day'.

Lindsay Davenport comfortably moved into the semi-finals of the indoor event being held in Seoul, South Korea. Her opponents were only able to take 10 games off of her combined. Here is what the American had to say when asked about her impressive victories.
"I'm extremely happy with my play up until this point. I have been hitting the ball with very solid and precise strokes, and it has paid off for me here in Seoul. I also have a lot of fans here, so that helps my cause tremendously. Really looking forward to the semi-finals."

http://img161.imageshack.us/img161/9332/nkkkxs2.jpg
Sofia Arvidsson was in a defiant mood on Saturday after two wins against Domachowska and Groenefled, Arvidsson continued with her run beating Pauline Wong 6-2 6-1. Sofia was in control throughout, leaning into her backhand was key as tons of winners flew past a blown-away Wong.
Just the match Sofia had been waiting for, a baseline tussle with legend Lindsay Davenport. Both players were unbeaten so far in the competition, and alot was expected. Arvidsson looked enthuasiastic throughout, and showed fight both on serve and when taking on the strong serve of Davenport. Arvidsson's attitude won her the match in 3 sets.
Tommorow she takes on Poland's Marta Domachowska in the semi-finals who she beat convincingly in the round-robin stage, if she wins that she'll either take on Davenport or Groenefeld.
● Vanilla ● Nov 17th, 2007, 08:01 PM Good Luck Sofia Arvidsson

http://www.wtnphotos.com/data/507/238.jpg
Today Lindsay Davenport suffered her first defeat at the hands of Sofia Arvidsson despite being up 6-1, 5-3. Lindsay played a fantastic match througout, but just didn't have any gas left in the tank for her fourth round robin match.
"I was doing what I could to just hang in there in that second set. It was working for a while, then I think Sofia picked-up on how tired and I was. I just had no legs for the remainder of the match and she played some guttsy tennis today to win that second set tie-break and the third set."
The prideful American says that she will be ready for the semi-finals. Has she regrouped after this shocking loss? We will hopefully find out tonight!!;)

http://www.wtnphotos.com/data/507/21238776885davenport.jpg
Lindsay Davenport of the United States is into the final of the Seoul Indoors. She will take on her fourth round, round robin conquerer Sofia Arvidsson. This should be a great match-up for the powerful American, as Sofia has already shown her prowess indoors going undefeated at this event.
"Well, I defenitely look at my final as a challenge, and that's what I like. Sofia has obviously been playing well here, but I also feel that I have, and that's why I'm going into this match with such a positive attitude and feeling."
