Two seeds are upset as Thailand and Slovenia win tight three setters against their higher ranked opponents. However both the seeds played good matches, taking into consideration that they had less points. The only seed who played and progressed was Georgia, who blew apart Hantuchova in straights as the bloggers of the week look for a place in the main draw.

The Spanish team last week reached the final of yet another tournament, but yet bowed out by loosing to wannabe's Australia in a 2 set thriller. "That old Idiot Virginia i swear shes to over confident, shes old, and she cant move around court us girls spoke to her shes only aloud in doubles from that pathetic loss to a very very weak team" Now The SPanish team have now started to immitate australia so they can get bonus points. The Spanish team are going to write articles after every little thing. "6 articles are patheitc, they are a desprate team, and the tour director are behind them, so lets proove them wrong im going to have 60 poitns an be unstoabable (:devil:)"

"I told you, Virginia was exaughsted she could never bring out a result like that, she just want to do 3 setters, she moonballs what else can you say". Thats the first words that Laura imposes when she got out of Center Stadium. The whole Croud were behind the Spanish team, with the whole team on her side. Laura POus Tio was showing such courage being ultra aggresive that match, and not giving in anything. Her Net play was Incredible and it was shown in the result.

The first set, Laura only had one early break of serve, from the Slovenians nervous first service game. after that, the slovenians wouldnt give in anything, but Luara Held her serve and nerve to serve out the set. The second set was the best set of her carrer only playing one event before this (Antwerp). SHe only lost 3 points on serve, and was breaking really succesfully. "That was a great match, let me say this team have potential, unlike that stupid Australia team"

you know you second round opponent is going to be one of two people, if your unsure of their gameplan look at last weeks results, not many change their strageties week in week out. You can always just send them and send others later.

Nadia Petrova almost gave a heart attack to team capitan and her supporters as Russian star managed to came back from 0-6 0-4 deficit to turn around her match vs Amanda Coetzer and win it 0-6 6-4 7-5. Russia as a qualifier managed to reach semis on clay event and are to face another tough team - Australia in face of Sammy Stosur.

"That was a part of my plan," said Petrova on her first ever press conference. "My coach was spying during RSA previous match and he noticed that Coetzer was on fire and the only way to beat her was to relax her and surprised by fine play in the middle of second set. I think that strategy worked perfectly as Amanda already smiled at 6-0 4-0 score. My coach gave me a sign to start my comeback and it was just a question of time to take that set. In third one Amanda was depressed by missing easy victory and I caught her there. Great luck that we're in semis and I'll try to everything to move my team further."

The strangest match of the tournament highleited one of the best teams of the world, taking on very talented team of Ukraine. "Wow they just ran completly out of fuel, I wasnt playing bad the first set. They played just best tennis, some tennis not even the number 1 or 2 team can even do. Australia are just mugs, and What are China, nothing they go in smaller tournaments when they can come to the Clay and proove to us that they deserve to be up the top". The whole team were there to watch Laura play.

"it was a great atmosphere, my team and I were very happy with my win. They thought i was going to loose with the Talent Ukraine had" The first set, Ukraine Were hitting winners all around court, not having porblems with anything, nor did spain. Ukraine was the better team out there. The second set the whole mood shifted when Spain were delivering the croud some excelent tennis. The Spanish spin was really uncomforting Alona, And it continued untill the third set.

Spain next face CZE, whom Iveta Benesova is representing. "I HATE VERSING LEFTIES!!!". Iveta defeated the chinease team in a 3 set thriller. "I expected a double beagel, But Iveta didnt do it, Maybe Iveta played like shit. You just cant win like that against mugs"

Laura moves into another clay for the Spanish as they take out the Czechs comfotably. After last weeks slip up they look determind to win the title this week. You would be brave to bet against them. Good week for the Czechs but they were outplayed today.

The dream run continues in an amazing match from Nadia. A qualifier, with only 140pts has made it to a Tier II Clay final beating someone with 215pts. Brilliant stuff, even better than I thought they would go. They have had a brilliant tournament and now just one match is in their way from a title. The final will be very intresting...
