2nd Semi Final for the Netherlands

http://www.wtnphotos.com/data/3171/31531475-e310-4779-8ac2-921fadb730b4.jpg

Dubai--

After last week The Netherlands is in their 2nd SF. In her 1st match in Dubai Michaella Krajicek defeated Polish Marta Domachowska in 3 sets. QF match versus the French second seed Amelie Mauresmo was a 3 setter again.

Misa started the match great, in the 1st set she was playing perfect tennis and Amelie wasn’t playing her best level. In the 2nd set Misa continued to play very good, she was leading 4-2, and then Amelie started to play very well. ‘’ This was bad from me, I was already thinking about a victory, and that’s why I lost the 2nd set’’ In the 3rd set Amelie and Misa didn’t loose there service till 4-4, then Misa broke Amelie.
And she was going to serve for the match, Misa didn’t make any mistake after that and played the match out.

Tomorrow Michaella will play against the 8 seed Klara Zakopalova for a place in the final.

AUSTRALIA LOST IN THE FINAL, AGAIN. . .

http://www.theage.com.au/ffximage/2007/01/15/wbTENNIScasey2_gallery__470x344.jpg

After Sydney, finally they can do it again, so they can reach the final, after three semifinal. Australia is in a good form and Casey played amazing a whole week. But this was not enough yet. Michaella Krajicek of Netherlands beat her in final.

"I have mixed feelings. I am glad that I reached the finals, after all I am disappointed a small, how I was not able to keep up with it. And Australia does not have a tournament victory because of this. I would have played a coming week, but I resigned. I am tired and I hope for Sophie will be able to substitute adequate"

http://scrapbookdesigns.files.wordpress.com/2007/01/australia_flag.gif

The score of the macth was 46 36. Australia's coach made an interview after the match.

"Casey played really good in this week, but she didn't have good tactic in the final, so that's why lost to Michaella who is a good talent. I am happy with this results and I hope in Doha finally Sophie will win the trophy. Thanks for this toruney and thanks for the interviw."

In the next week Sophie Ferguson will play for Australia, good luck to her!
