Justine's Blog-An Early Loss

http://www.iran-daily.com/1385/2795/html/070878.jpg

Hello everyone!

Well, I lost today against a very good player...Romanian Sorana Cirstea. She's got a bright future ahead of her, and unfortunately she was too tough for me. Hopefully I can get out of the indoor season with wins. I want to at least attempt to win on my worst surface, with grass being the other one. I wanted to play in Belgium so much so that I could treat the home fans to at least a little Belgian flair. But, that was not to be.

My coach Carlos and our team captain Stephen both said that I played very well, and should be confident on the other surfaces that won't hurt my game so much. But, I wasn't that disappointed anyway. I got a chance to rest and visit with all of my friends that I haven't seen in so long. The fans in the stadium here in Antwerp were so amazing! I couldn't believe how many people bought the Belgium hats, flags, teddy bears...I was fortunate enough to sign a girl's who told me she wanted to play just like me when she grew older. It touched me so much. She is going to be a great addition to our team next season, I can tell. Yannia Wickmeyer, Kim, Elke, and Els were there as well.

So I will get back in touch with you all soon. I will tell you all about my experiences here in Antwerp and perhaps at my home in Charleroi. So I leave with an excelent saying: "A win boosts confidence. A loss boosts your game." Au revoir!

Justine Henin

Hello everyone! I did my rounds today. I went so many places with my friends. First we went to Paris, believe it or not, and looked at Euro Disney. I never been before, but it was a lot of fun there. We went shopping along the Champs Elysees, even though I didn't buy anything. Finally, I had to do my press interview, which is in the picture. There was a funny joke, and I can't remember what it was or why it was so funny. Anyway, I am tired and I will try and find another article to write for you all. I know that my anecdotes are somewhat...stupid, but that's okay! Au revoir et tout mon amour.

Justine's Blog

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/5/52/Justine_Henin_Miami.jpg/472px-Justine_Henin_Miami.jpg

Hello, everyone. I took in some practicing today, and it was decided that I would not go to Dubai. Instead, my good friend Kim Clijsters is going. She's going to do so well there, I know it. My coach Carlos is really drilling my backhand, trying to get me to be more agressive. I hope it will pay off during the clay season. Kim is definitely the best player from Belgium right now, and here results prove it. Thanks a lot for reading my blog here in Antwerp, and I hope to blog some time soon!

Oh. By the way. I went to a chocolate factory here in Antwerp. I saw how they made the chocolate along with Russian Elena Dementieva. I didn't get a picture of myself, but Elena was having a lot of fun as well as I. There are so many different things involved with chocolate that I didn't know about, and Elena took home quite a souvenir.

Donc bon au revoir à tout! J'espère vous parler un jour bientôt.

Avec l'amour,

Justine Henin
