Welcome to Barcelona! In the first clay event of the season, the men will play on the red clays of Spain in Barcelona! Last week we saw Marcos Baghdatis win his first title, will his plan work on clay? Former number 1 Nathan Healey looks to return to his form, but there are 29 other players who are looking for the title! The tour would like to welcome Gaston Gaudio, and say good luck to everyone!

As much as I hate to do this, I'm going to have to extend the deadline another 24 hours. I just don't have time to do results or even put points in right now, it's been a busy day. So, deadline tomorrow at 6:00 pm est, KEEP SENDING POINTS.

Recount your points and make sure yo uhave the right total. I've found several pm's that have the wrong amoutn of points, for the women's. If I saw it I pmed you and told you, but I haven't gone through them all yet.

Amelia Island, FLORIDA-- Anna Chakvetadze is through to the quarter finals of the Tier II WTA Event in Amelia Island, Florida. The Russian beat American Serena Williams in straight sets 64, 75. Chakvetadze played a solid match breaking Williams' serve only twice, once in each set. "I played very well. Serena played very well too, I just got the break in each set, I'm sure if she got the break she would have got the set. I'm very happy with the win, a quarter final is great."

Next up for the 20 year old Moscow native is another American Ashley Harkleroad, who had a walkover from Daniela Hantuchova in the 2nd Round.

Barcelona, SPAIN-- Janko Tipsarevic is also through to the quarters of the Tier II event in Spain. The 22 year old, Chakvetadze boyfriend, beat Tomas Berdych in the sets, 2-6 6-3 7-5. "It's a good win for me. I have been playing well these last couple of weeks, these surfaces aren't my favourite surfaces and it's great to be able to get far in these tournaments, it gives me a lot of confidence. The first set was tough, there was a lot of close calls and I got frustrated. I know it effects my game and I need to cut it out, but it's hard when I see a ball is clearly out and the umpire is calling it in. The next two sets I regained my confidence and worked to get a couple of break points."
