Anybody know anything about these two girls? Monique Viele is due to play the winner in Waco $10K qualifying and I'm wondering if Monique may get her first win of 2002. Mang seems to have played better of the two recently.

Mang and Watermann have played once this year in the 2nd round of 10K qualies and Mang won 6-2 6-0. Mang's only win this year came against Watermann and Watermann has one win this year against Erin Kirkland 6-3 6-2. This is both their first year on tour.

This could be a good chance for Monique. Monique has had shit qualy draws, losing to the likes of Jackie Carleton and Lepchenko, who eventually qualify and reach the semis of these things. If Monique is gonna win a match, this looks as if it's as good an opportunity as she will get this year, save for drawing a Bagel Girl. If she does not pull this out, she might want to give it up in all honesty.

I did a Yahoo search earlier and discovered that Mang had already beaten Waterman this season. Monique has had tough draws as you say and has lost a couple of those in 3 sets so hopefully she can see off one of these girls.
