These two girls were talking and Amy is sooooooooooooooooo cute she looks so cute like Amy frazier. Before I interviewed Marisue was telling Amy I had a coach and he was A Brazilian guy(does anyone know who?) who coached Amanda Coetzer and he was sick he mad me run like at 11 at night and he would scream he wouldn't let my friends see me or I couldn't even talk on the phone he was sick in the head . I won a tournament once and I told my dad if I continue with him I 'm quitting. after I heard this I thought I have to interview her so I did and here it is.
how long have you been playing professionally?
Marisue: This is my first tournament professionally. I play at oklahoma City University.(this surprised me because she seemed like a good player and here too have a player like this is strange.
Amy: This is also my first but I 'm only playing doubles I play in college.
Are you going to be playing for a long time?
Amy: you never know
Marisue: I'll play a couple of more years if I still enjoy it.
What is the hardest part of playing tennis?
Marisue: I find it weird it seems so hard to me to win a point(laughs) I mean it's hard I can't explain what I feel.when I was younger I just hit the ball back I'm still stick in that but it's not all about power. there's strategy.
In the juniors did you play anyone who plays pro now?
Marisue: Oh a lot I played Mauresmo, Dokic,Dementieva many many people.
Amy: I played Irvin once
Did you travel a lot as juniors?
Marisue: Yeah I did everywhere
Amy: I just stayed in southern California because it's sooooo competitve there
Marisue: I always though wow when I saw americans you have so many tournaments here everyone is good.
Do you think it's friendlier here because here everyone talks to eachother in the top 100 they don't?
Marisue: Believe me they do talk
Amy : I talk to the players here.
Do yo uthink the scene in asia is better
Mari sue: definently it all changed with Kimko Date who was number 4 but Angelique will definently help top 20 at least/
Thanks girls can I get a picture?
sure Amy crouches down becasue she's much taller than Marisue
Marisue is coached by Tim Shannahan an Aussie who is in Phoenix. Marisue is staying with him and working with him at Woodlake Racquet club in Oklahoma City.
