I awoke at 9 am and really didn't feel like going but then I decided to go and didn't regret it. I entered the tournament office and they gave me a draw and said thanks for coming and asked if I was from the media I said yeah which really I kind of am . So I went out and it's soooo weird how everyone just stays there. I saw a little of the Neyssa Etienne- Danielle Lund match Neyssa looks a lot like Alexandra Stevenson neithe really have a defining stroke and neither hits the ball that hard but neyssa does place her serve very well but it's not very fast. Neyssa looks a lot like alexandra stevenson. I found it strange that the players sit next to each other on the change over all that seperated them was a bottle of water.The other people that were watching the match were Neyssa's coach and danielles family I think.

On the adjacent court the match was over and the girls talked for about 10 minutes after the match and I thought what if Jelena and Anna did that or something.Neyssa was still playing and the match wasn't very good so I got up and left I saw a group of three girls and decided to talk to themnext is the interview:

Me: Hi you all are playing in the tournament right?
girl#3 Yeah
me: I am with Wtaworld.com a site dedicated to women's tennis do you mind if i interview you.
Girl#2(laughs and says really?
me: yeah
girl#3 you don't want to interview me I am not in the main draw
me sure I'll intervie all three of you.

I immediatelk ask Beau ,Beau you played Nancy Loeefler caro a few weeks ago how was that?
Beau: I treated it like any other match everyone kept telling me you have a tough match,you have a tough match, and I found out her age and couldn't believe it .
Leigh chips in Is she any good? Beau shakes her head quickly and quietly says no.
Katie says I think she just plays because she wants to be part of the tour and do the best she can.

selesfan1: These girls always give us a good show in these tournaments and we discover new good players every year. The revelation of the Montreal future last week for me was Stephanie Dubois's performance who came very close to beat Melanie Marois in semis. It was the best match of the tournament. Beau : I just want to be the best leigh says me 2.

What are the tough parts of playing satellites and challengers?

Beau: I think the tough part is travelling alone .

Are you going to be like some people and keep playing when you really don't see you're improving.

Beau: No, if I don't see myself improving I won't continue mainly because it won't be fun and the finnancial part would be tough.
Leigh: This is just my second pro event so I don't know.

what's the weirdest thing that's happened to you on court?

Beau: I once checked a line judge into a fence
Leigh: I hit a line judge with the tip of a racket

What kind of music do you like?
Leigh : I like trance and r&b
Beau : I like U2 and a variety of music a little country like Shaniaaaaaaaaaaaaa(everyone laughs)
Katie : I like all kinds i don't like country it was really bad last week in Dallas
Beau: It's the same here
Katie: Is it that bad?

Do you all like to do anything away from tennis?

beau: I like to relax cos you're always practicing and you're soo tired so I just relax
Leigh: me 2

Do you think the environment is nicer here because you're all in the same boat so to speak?
Beau: yeah
I mean because at a grand slam we would never see this like for example Jennifer,Serena and Venus all sitting together talking to each other.

Katie: no,Serena says Pete and andre don't hang out
Beau: Yeah it's a good environment here at the acura(she played qualifying when she won the pre qualifying) I noticed they don't talk a lot to each other.
Leigh:yeah

what's the biggest match of you're career?
Beau: probably the quallies at acura
Leigh: I don't know I just usually play junior events
