BUT I suppose Google has to get the billions of dollars back that they spent on buying You Tube, so seems like they are going to be charging for videos in the future. Bastards :fiery:

Some people don't see to 'get' YouTube. It ISN'T the place the put whole matches. For 2 reasons: 1) They don't accept copyright material. Period. Short clips of copyright videos are tolerated I suppose. 2) YouTube heavily compresses videos so they can be watched right away. So you can barely see the ball most of the time. It's useless.

But YouTube does have something to lose: money from potential lawsuits. They do NOT have the copyright for those matches, so it's illegal for them to show them. It's as simple as that.

you missed another reason,eurosport are streaming matches online,they want people to pay for there coverage and not watch it free on youtube,there was a warning about this a while back from someone who claimed to work for eurosport.

My account had my Tennis: An Anthology video deleted because Tennis Australia didn't like me using their pictures of the Australian Open of 2004 and 2005 (Serena vs. Sharapova, and the clijsters slide, and Roddick hitting a backhand, and I think Capriati). It was one of my best ranking videos, and they took it off completely. I'm upset not only with YouTube, but with Tennis Australia. If anyone can help me contact them to get my video back on, I'd greatly appreciate it.

yea before i found this site i was addicted to pacomexican and poldame vids on youtube...but then they were all just gone and it really ticked me off
but this place has better stuff and i can keep it..:cool:
