What a tight match. Mary played great after coming through qualifying. She gave Monica a massive run for her money but Monica was a bit too strong in the vital stages.

Maria Kirilenko defeats (4) Stephanie Dubois

She defeats her doubles partner after having a slow start! She looks very comfortable on the grass and remains undefeated. In the Semi's its going to be a repeat of last week Birmingham's final.

Shuai records her first victory on the grass with a very comfortable victory over a player who seems to be struggling on the grass.

(2) Na Li defeats Ashley Harkleroad

Along with compatriot Peng Shuai she records her first victory on the grass. It was an amazing match but Ashley just missed out on having a great victory.

Solid effort from Shuai here. After last weeks early loss in Birmingham, she has rebounded and is into the final. She will be have to be on her game if she is to get close to Maria in her form.
