Posted on GB Tennis Girls - I thought Mel might lose that one, Cirstea is ranked number 11 in the juniors and her last senior match was a Tier 4 event which she qualified defeating the Agnieszka Radwanska ranked 99 along the way.

Gosh, did not realise she was ranked 11 in juniors. Agree it was a tough draw for Mel after a three week training block. Good luck in Nottingham. :)
