Svetlana Kuznetsova won her second round match at the J&S Cup at Warsaw, Poland, against Caroline Wozniacki in 2 tight sets 7-6(5) 7-5. Next she will meet Monique Viele, winner of Tatiana Panova in 3 sets.

"I'm happy with my game today, and thank god we played only 2 sets, because you know I felt very tired at the end, and I think I wouldn't have been able to play a 3rd set. I don't know why, but I still am very tired. I think I need a good and long night to be in form for tomorrow's match against Monique. Caroline was not an easy opponent, and against Monique it will be hard too. So bye bye, I need to recharge my batteries (smile)"

Question: You played against Marta in the previous round, talked about you match please.

Maria: Well, I wasn’t playing bad tennis but I wasn’t playing like I played during the Australian Open. The scoreline reflects exactly the difference between us. I mean, she is a better player than me and it appeared yesterday on the court. She was more aggressive than me. When I was dominating her and when I thought I hit the winner shot, she reached the ball and spin it back to a better and a winner one. She was amazing. I didn’t have to blame myself, I mean, I didn’t expect to make a good run this week like the next week. I don’t know where I am, I mean, I just doesn’t know what I am going to do later.

Q: What does that mean?

M: Huh?

Q: Well, what are you going to do later?

M: Ah! Well, I doesn’t want to retire because I love this game and this Tour. But in an other way, I am not playing well and I am not able to have some good results. So, it’s very disappointing for me and my coach.

Q: So, what are you going to do?

M: Are you listening? I just DOESN’T KNOW what I am going do to LATER!

Q: During the next event, what are you going to do?

M: Well, I doesn’t have the mood to watch the other girls playing tennis or practice myself. So, I am having a good time at Berlin. The next tournament is here and I know where is the hot club and the hot beach, like this one, so I am going to stay at the beach. And my goal will be: have fun and looks at some guys and I will be back next week with a boyfriend.
